This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great Location

This is the place to stay if you’re eating at chubby fish. You can send someone to stake out the line, have drinks on the porch and when it’s time, a minute walk and you’re in. Spacious, nice back yard, parking it’s a great place and the owners group is super responsive.

Delightful experience

My sister and I loved the property during our 3 night stay. We loved the location! It was a few minute drive to many of our destinations in old Charleston and less than 10 minutes to Folly Beach. Also, the property managers were easy to reach and tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

Great Charleston-style house

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was walking distance to almost everything! And they allowed us to bring our dogs which is a huge bonus! Would definitely recommend especially to people who need a dog-friendly place to stay!

Great location and home!

We really enjoyed our stay. This home is so close to King Street, it made it really easy to visit the sites. The home was roomy and very clean. Beds and towels were great! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

Lots of space!

There are 3 nice-sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is also a large dining room. This house could easily accommodate a large group. The home is more “historic” than I anticipated with cracking walls and floors that slope.

Great Place for our Shopping Day

We booked for one night during our holiday family trip. This unit was quiet and close to everything. For shopping you may want to drive and park as the walk would be a tad long with lots of bags. Nice neighborhood and great managers.

We stayed here for a few days. The place was very close to everything, short walks to King Street and Meeting Street. A fun walk to the aquarium. We stayed with a 1 year old and had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Quick family trip

The location of this property was great for walking with many good restaurants nearby. Makan and the dumpling place (forgot name already) were our faves. The place was clean. We had several noise interruptions (fire alarm next door and loud upstairs renters, we believe with a child) but it was to no fault of the property management or owner.

Comfortable and convenient

We were moving our daughter at the College of Charleston and this property served as a comfortable home base. Nice neighborhood in walking distance to good restaurants. Property management was responsive and accommodating.

Charleston did not disappoint!

We stayed here for 3 nights and was not disappointed. The house was exactly as the pictures portrayed. I liked how the host included a visitors guide to help make our stay easier! On site parking was a big plus! Plenty of eateries within walking distance of the house! I will definitely attempt a rebook if ever we are in Charleston again.

Great location

Apartment well located for the attractions of downtown Charleston. The bathrooms could use some updating and the kitchen equipment is patchy, but the beds are comfortable and it is a handy pad for going out in the town. This is the downstairs flat so you do hear the upstairs people moving around.

Charleston Open Tennis Girl’s Trip

The location was phenomenal with an awesome coffee shop a block away! The kitchen and baths were dated, but functional. Bring an eye mask if you’re sensitive to light while sleeping- hopefully the owners are adding curtains or room darkening shades to block the streetlights. Overall, a great experience!!
