Excellent Cabin

This is our second stay at Moonshine Trail cabin and we love it. The cabin is clean, very private and has all the amenities you need. The host is responsive and accommodating. We look forward to staying again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect getaway—warm, inviting, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The cabin was clean and the comfortable furnishings made it feel like a home away from home. The location was peaceful. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge in a charming, comfortable setting for the entire family (fur babies included)!

Home away from home

Comfortable and very private get away. We used this to utilize the Ivy Branch trail system for Hatfield and McCoy. Tyler was a very responsive and helpful host!

Great cabin getaway spot

10/10 would book this cabin again. Cleanliness got the picky girlfriend approval. The cabin was very surprisingly well appointed and stocked - that was the most comfortable short-term rental app bed I've ever slept on, pantry was well stocked with spices and the basics, and it didn't feel that small on the inside. We had utmost privacy, as we could only see one of the neighboring houses somewhat far off.

Thank you! This cabin was so clean, convenient, and thoughtfully arranged. We stayed with 4 adults and one child, plus one dog. Doggie door w fenced yard was a highlight! In winter, our Prius would have struggled to get up the driveway, but since it was summer, no problem. Nearby Charleston was also lovely!

Amazing Cottage for a perfect Dogcation

We booked this cottage because of the yard space and wanting to have space for our dogs to run around. We absolutely loved our stay. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was quick to reply when we had questions. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The location is perfect. Tucked away and private, yet only 15-20 minutes to shopping. The best part was that the host did not have a laundry list of chores that needed to be completed before we left. They didn't ask us to haul off the trash or do any other cleaning duties. That was quite refreshing. I would definitely stay here again.

Cabin

The cabin was very nice and clean. There were a lot of nice extra amenities. The only complaint I have is that I wish the description of the cabin would mention the road/driveway getting to it. The driveway is very steep, thankfully we had my husbands truck because we were going to bring my car and it would never have made it up the driveway.

Cute and cozy

Long weekend husband and daughter hunting trip. Cabin was cute and cozy. Very clean with no issues. Cabin stocked w everything you need or may have forgot. Great communication with host. Check in process was simple with a code. Beautiful view. Road going in was a rough wv road but was paved with lots of turns and hills but my car made it in.18 min away from shopping Would highly recommend staying here.

Country roads took me home!

Our stay was amazing! The photos and description are on point. A relaxing and quiet oasis that was close enough to the hustle and bustle of city living yet far enough away to enjoy the beautiful sunshine, birds and wonderful outdoor area. The home was decorated to where I felt right at home and all the "little" things that provide comfort were made available (i.e. blankets, Q-tips, feminine products, etc.) Very prompt responses when questions were asked. Loved the area and would defiantly suggest to friends and stay again.

Great Cabin

Great cabin with a nice view and very secluded the hosts were wonderful with lots of thoughtful touches. One word of advice - the road to get to it is very interesting and a bit challenging. Stick with it the destination is worth it. Also be sure to bring your food, no quick pop out to a restaurant or delivery here as you truly are getting away from it all. Drive to downtown Charleston is about 20-25 minutes. Thanks to the host great job, great cabin!

Private Remote Cabin

The Moonshine Trail cabin is exactly as described and pictured. It was very clean, appropriately appointed and had nice interior design - lots of personal touches that made the cabin feel like home. The host definitely cares about this property inside and out and it shows! Host is very responsive, helpful and accommodating! The cabin even has a washer and dryer for convenience (+ dishwasher). Nice hot water in the shower with good pressure too! This is a very private, remote setting and is perfect for a quiet time away! Nice yard and surroundings. Can't wait to stay at Moonshine Trail again! One of the best cabins/experiences we have ever booked/stayed! Thanks so much to the host for the care that is obviously put toward this property!

We stayed at this adorable cabin for Mothman Weekend and absolutely loved it! Just an hour from Point Pleasant, it felt more like a luxury apartment with a cozy loft. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever had on a trip. We loved the porch, fire pit, fun games, and cute appliances. The host reached out before our stay to make sure we had directions and was really kind and helpful. Can’t wait to come back for our next adventure!

Home away from home

This is a very nice cabin to rent and the Host was very responsive when I would send messages. The wildlife was plentiful. We saw deer every morning and evening. We plan on renting it again next time we come back to the area.
