"Don’t let the pictures for you this place is a dump. In fact, I got into the room and I turned around and I left. It was horrible. It had not been cleaned properly. There was no way I was staying there. There were cockroaches all over the bathroom. I understand that that’s normal for CHARLESTON. I live here, but this was bad really bad and I was just could not do it so I took the loss on the money that I paid for the room which was about 60 some dollars and decided that I wasn’t gonna do it. It’s a dump all the way around it’s a dump some shady characters around there too, so I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone at all in any way shape or form if there was a way to give it -5 stars I would. !"

"Does service is exceptional. The room condition is beautiful. Everything is excellent, except the mechanical room is in my bedroom, which makes some noise in the middle of the night. Also, since my room is on the first floor, I have no privacy if I leave the drape open. So even in broad daylight, I have no choice but to keep the drip closed and it feels stuffy in the room."

"Rooms do not come with microwave or mini fridge. In order to get them, you need to get the "deluxe room" which costs between $40-$60 EXTRA for the same exact room in order to have those included kn your room. All hotels are required to have those two important amenities for their guests.... Staff. Terrible. Family owned. Doesnt pay any mind to customers walking in, felt ignored. Woman at the front desk was eating and talking to us placing grease on my fiance's credit card. No hospitality. There is no "Do Not Disturb" signage either you need to "request" room service. Do not recommend. "

"Great location in historic Charleston. Easy walk to water and to the market full of shops as well as other dining and shopping. We walked everywhere. Beautiful artsy boutique hotel with great service, nice spacious room & great rooftop area with a bar & grill for dining. "

"The location was great. Within walking distance from shops, restaurants and sightseeing. Staff was awesome and rooms clean and beds and pillows were awesome which to me is hard to find. I highly recommend this place!"
