Enjoy sunsets sitting on the deck overlooking the woods or grilling out. Wanna stay in? Great! There are two family rooms to accommodate everyone as they do their thing. Relax, revive and enjoy everything Charleston has to offer.

You will be less than 7 minutes to great shopping, dining, downtown and the best concert venues in the state. Blue Sunsets is a great weekend getaway for couples but has plenty of room for the kids!

Although the house was a little dated, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for my family reunion to celebrate my Mom's 89th. The owner was very cordial and we felt if we had any issues, which we didn't, he would have been accommodating. Would rent again if we are back to Charleston.

Comfortable country cottage with easy access to Charleston Downtown
I'll lead with the two negatives. The house only had one roll of toilet paper when we arrived, with two bathrooms, and the driveway was less than ideal. That being said, the location was awesome, the privacy was great, access to downtown was excellent, there were great little shops nearby, it was quiet at night, basically everything you'd want. The house was clean and tidy, kitchen and living spaces were great. Would stay again!

This was a quiet neighborhood and a unique house nestled in the woods. It felt like we were in the country while still being close to everything!

Great location and comfortable home
We enjoyed our stay. the home was very comfortable and on a nice wooded lot. Weather was hot and very humid but the house stayed very nice and cool. The owner was attentive and very helpful with a couple of small issues. We enjoyed our stay - a little reunion of sisters and the location was great to go out and about as well. Many thanks to the owner! We would definitely come back again!

This home was recently purchased, and needs a lot of TLC to be brought up to the VRBO standards we are used to... The property manager was helpful with maintenance issues. He did refer to it as a work in process...

Blue Sunsets Blue Review
We stayed at Blue Sunsets 5/26-5/29. 4 adults in our party over the age of 65. Home had plenty of space. Pros: both bathrooms had clean sinks, floors and toilets. The home was well-vacuumed well-dusted and swept. Cons: Inside windowsill in master bath had been covered with dirt (looks like it may have blown in from the sill outside) I discovered this when I raised the blind. Master bedroom blinds (2 lower verticals)were cut out.. The outside windowsills in the two spare bedrooms were full of old leaves which you could see quite clearly when you were near the windows. The one facing the backyard actually looked like a nest because so much leaf debris in it. Kitchen screen door was broken - didn't close all the way. There were over 20 cracked tiles on the kitchen floor. Kitchen cabinets were shabby looking - chipped and peeling. The next morning, we discovered mouse droppings on the kitchen counter next to the microwave, toaster oven and to the right of the stove. A package of bread left out had been nibbled open at the bottom. There were droppings every day, so we stored our provisions in lidded boxes away from the area. Disgusting! I realize in wooded areas, mice can be about, however, there had to be knowledge of this that could have been remedied. The patio furniture on the deck was filthy! I spent over an hour cleaning the glass, metal & mesh with hot, soapy water, because I was so embarrassed to have our friends see what we had, in good faith, rented.
