「This property is two rooms next to a small hotel. There is no check-in desk, instead you are meant to fill in an online form and let them know your arrival time. We hadn't seen that instruction, and nobody answered when we phoned the number on the door at 8pm. Luckily a local was passing and was able to help contact the hotel and get us in. 「The Auberge de l’Abbatiale is a wonderful small family run hotel with excellent accommodation in a historic and very interesting building. Very friendly owner and staff. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Thoroughly recommended as a stop off point while travelling through France as it is located in a picturesque historic village fairly close to an exit on the A31 (13 km away). Half way between Calais and the south of France.」
