Lake Alakol, Tian Shan - Terskey Alatau mountains, Kyrgyzstan

Lake Alakol is a glacier lake in some 3.500 meters in the Terskey Alatau range of Tian Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan. This rewarding view is from the Alakol saddle in altitude of ca. 3.900 meters. Terskey Alatau is located south from the Issyk Kul lake and offers great trekking routes as well many summits for climbers.
