The villa is located in the immediate vicinity of the village of Villastrada, just a few kilometres north of the historic Etruscan town of Chiusi (Tuscany) and south of the medieval town of Castiglione del Lago (Umbria), which lies on a peninsula above Lake Trasimeno.
Thanks to its central location, you can take interesting day trips to the famous cities of Rome, Florence, Siena and Perugia, but discovering the many smaller towns and cities in the immediate vicinity will give you an authentic Italian experience.
The villa is situated on a 5,000 sqm plot of land in a secluded and privileged location, characterised by extensive lawns, an olive grove, fruit trees and numerous aromatic shrubs.
The large covered terrace is the ideal place to enjoy local delicacies and regional wines. Comfortable garden furniture invites you to relax on the large lawn in front of the house.
Our guests have at their disposal a large swimming pool (15x5 m) with outdoor shower, surrounded by a beautiful hedge and herbs.
The villa has recently been tastefully and elegantly renovated, taking into account the pre-existing architecture and surroundings.
The interiors of both houses are carefully furnished with an elegant mix of antique furniture and modern design, creating a warm and cosy ambience, equipped with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a fireplace and central heating.
The villa offers enough space for 8 persons.
On the ground floor there is a large entrance hall, a spacious and cosy living room with an open fireplace and two large doors leading directly to the terrace and the garden. As a particularly decorative element, part of the living room wall has been left in natural stone.
The large kitchen-dining room, typical of country houses, is very well equipped and includes marble worktops, an open fireplace/barbecue and a dishwasher.
Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with double bed, walk-in wardrobe and direct access to the garden, a bathroom with shower and a laundry room with washing machine.
On the first floor, which is spacious, our guests have two further double rooms and a room with two single beds, which can also be used as a double bed. In a living room slightly separated from the corridor area, there is also a large sofa bed for two more persons (for a maximum of 10 persons). All rooms have walk-in wardrobes.
There are also two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with bathtub.
Please note: there is another smaller house on the property, situated in a higher location than the main villa. The house can be rented to 2 persons or a family with 1-2 children, but it has its own driveway, parking space, garden and terrace. There is also enough space between the individual houses, ensuring maximum privacy for all guests.
However, guests of the small house can also use the pool.
Both houses can be rented separately or together, accommodating a group of up to 14 people.
