"The listing description is mostly accurate but it left out two very important items when staying in Avignon in the July heat. First- there is no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees during our stay and the bedrooms are in the attic and the apartment is on the second floor. It was so incredibly hot in the evening, it was difficult to sleep. "We were warmly welcomed by our host to his unique property, which was even better than the photos. He was very kindly flexible with both our check-in and check-out times. The apartment is very spacious, in a great location, with a very special view, and uniquely decorated. Of course to get a great view you have to be prepared to climb the stairs. The only minor issue is the water pressure in the shower."

"The refurbished lobby, dining area and rooms area really nice. We stayed in a room that is not yet renovated, so I guess our experience was not as neat as in the new rooms. However, the bedroom was clean, comfortable and breakfast was delicious and very well presented. Special thanks to the kind staff!!!"

"Very nice place, big and well equipped. The house is functional and has many things which turned out during the stay to be useful. As a minor critic - the SMEG coffee machine brews very slowly. It takes about 45 minutes to have a coffee. The sink drain kept getting clogged, and we had to use the plunger that was provided to get the water flowing again, although it only worked for a short time. A big plus is the pool - absolut highlight of the premise. Also using the Petanque field gave us great pleasure. I can recommend the house and would go back again."

"This hotel was in a perfect location, very close to restaurants, shops and sight seeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing we saw as a negative was the shower. While being very clean, lots of hot water etc. it is extremely slippery and I mean like an ice skating rink when wet. So, I caution hang on when stepping in and don't move around too much once inside."
