"The room was OK for what I paid for it. Shower was a bit difficult to manage. Breakfast of muffins and waffles? Nah. Didn't bother. For more than $100, I expect something more than that or cereal. I just slept, woke up and left, so there was nothing special about it."

"Exceeded our expectations! Walking in to the stunning great room and then the huge, tall ceiling screened porch instantly made us confident that we made the right choice. The rooms are larger than we expected. The kitchen has literally ALL you need - enough tools and utensils for 6 kitchens. The stone fireplace is so elegant and the woods provided great seclusion even with neighbors nearby.We have already booked another girl's weekend! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with all of us!"

"I liked the location (Holly Springs, N.C.) What I disliked was the extreme low water pressure in the bathroom sink (rm. #201). I understand the water saving reasoning, but it was set to come out as a trinkle. This was a pain when you have to wash up in the morning, especially when you want to get out in a hurry. Thus a 4 instead of 5 star rating."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival to the hotel. I travel for work and seeing a smiling face, ready to help you relax was very much appreciated. It was the room itself that was the issue for me. It was apparent that the cleaning staff decided that only partial services were warranted for my stay. 1. The hardwood laminate was nasty. It felt slick and appeared to not have been swept before my arrival. 2. The walls had 'stuff' stuck to them. It was like food stuffs were splattered on the wall and no one did a complete clean up of whatever it was that spilt or was slung on the walls. 3. The floor of the tub had not been cleaned at all! Fortunately, I keep cleaning products, including a scrub brush, with me when I travel to deal with this type of deplorable conditions. 4. And from the sounds of things, there were either dog and/or child foot races happening in the hallways on and above my floor."

"My son was getting married and we needed a stay that was close to the venue, where we could sleep peacefully, with at least 2 bathrooms, and could afford easy mobility for my 82 year old mother. We found this property to be exactly what we needed. What a lovely property and very nicely remodeled. It is conveniently located within a walkable neighborhood. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We are so grateful to have found this little gem!"

"This spot has so much potential but misses the mark. Setting is amazing and hosts are responsive but it feels very “managed” and not very intimate which is one of the reasons I love VRBO. We were really looking forward to the screened in porch but it was absolutely unusable because the cats have taken over and it did not appear any attempts at cleaning it to prepare for guests had occurred so we could not use it. There was a significant ant problem in the kitchen they were in the sink and on the countertop. There are signs taped up everywhere on the doors and walls about “rules” and the signs on the doors with security cameras made us wonder about the safety being so far in the country. The hammock was also unusable due to sticks and dirt so it didn’t feel like they prepared for our visit. The cats were always trying to get in and crying at the doors, jumping in the car if we left any windows open. And I love cats but . . . This is a wonderful property if they were more aware of the guest experience."
