"Overall the hotel was charming and clean, there are a couple critiques we can suggest… we tried to swim in the pool but the water was too cold as there was no heating on. Also, some maintenance is required in the room we were in - the air grills needed a good cleaning and some paint touch ups were needed."

"If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s close to concert venues, amusements parks, and restaurants outside the city then Avonlea Cottages is the go. If you’re ever short and in need of supplies, there’s a grocery store just across the street. As for the cottage itself, it’s pretty good for the price you pay, you basically get everything you need for a short or long stay. Only thing I would like to mention is that there’s no strong kitchen ventilation so if you plan on cooking inside, beware of setting off the smoke alarm. But that’s about it, everything else was perfect, there’s also the hot tub near the office, it’s very cozy to stay at especially around fall time. 10/10 would come back again if there was ever an event nearby."

Being able to see the tide go in or out,taking a walk on the ocean floor at low tide to look at the caves was amazing.The apartment is perfect for 2 people,very clean, and comfortable bed for sleeping. Not far in either direction to drive to St. John or Fundy National Park. Loved it there."

"Mark & Jing were gracious host and keep the hotel very clean. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. They thought of everything. The bed was very comfortable! It was nice having the Tasiang Kitchen & Taps restaurant attached to the hotel in case you need to grab a bite to eat. The menu is limited but enough. The Continental breakfast that Mark & Jing put out has a good variety to suit everyone’s needs. We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat!!"
