Come and stay in your home away from home, in the middle of the Cape Winelands, and make this your base to do sight seeing from.
Grande Plaisir is the perfect home with a beautiful garden, only 10 minutes walk to the village centre. Enjoy the pool and braai area with your eye on the splendid mountain views. Around the pool, you'll find pool chairs, umbrellas, pool towels and a wonderful dining area in the shade. The house caters for 3 couples, friends or family, who love spending time together. The house has a comfortable living room, reception area, dining room and a
huge kitchen with double stove, hob, refrigerator, dish washer and washing machine. Everything you'll need, you'll find here. From a bottle of local wine, a garlic crusher to tinfoil.
The 3 bedrooms are spacious and each individually decorated.
We have Egyptian cotton on the queen size beds, each with a homemade quilt made by Marlicia.
Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. One bathroom has showers and a separate bath, the others have huge double showers. Each room is fitted with a hair dryer, double adapters, a safe and 2 gowns.
If you need accommodation for another couple, the Protea apartment is just next door. The pool and braai area will then be totally private.
We invite you to come and enjoy our peaceful seclusion.

Einzigartiges Ferienhaus

Dieses Haus ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Bilder an den Wänden sind kleine Kunstwerke, total süß. Mein Lieblingsplatz ist vor dem Haus auf den Bänken. Dort kann man total abschalten. In den wunderschönen Vorgarten zu schauen und die Abendsonne zu genießen ist himmlisch. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das ganze Haus ist mit unglaublichem Komfort und sehr durchdacht eingerichtet. Es fehlt nichts. Vielen Dank Marlicia und Louis für die fantastische Zeit bei euch.

Stunning Property with Incredible Amenities

The pluses outweighed the minuses during this stay, but communication was the hardest aspect of this stay. If you're going to use a management system to advertise on a platform like VRBO, the information needs to be repetitive and CLEAR via the VRBO platform about where to find any further check in and rental information. It made initial communication very difficult and hard to find. It's clear that Marlicia takes great pride in her property, as she should. While she initially made a highly passive-aggressive decision to turn off the advertised available ACs and accused us of draining her inverter battery on the property she made the right choice to make them available again when confronted and then apologized after speaking to her electrician and realized she was in correct in her assumption of how the battery was drained. This redeemed an otherwise poor management choice. Otherwise, the property is absolutely stunning - spacious, many beautiful green spaces to utilize with en-suite bathrooms on each bedroom. The kitchen, dining, living & outdoor living spaces are beautiful to behold and it was great accommodation for 6 adults and 4 kids under the age of six.

Wonderful stay in Franschhoek

The house was perfect for our family stay with large rooms all on suite. Amazing outdoor and pool area for relaxing. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Even helped organize fit to fly Covid testing at the house.
