We enjoyed our stay at this home which was clean and in a great location! We enjoyed the deer, the kids had fun in the backyard and we enjoyed the area of tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend this home for your stay!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and 3 days. Had a great time! The pictures of the house o line does not do this place justice! All though they are good pictures, in person it is much better. Very homey, nice furniture, very comfy beds. Everything we needed was there. Billie was very nice. Back yard was amazing, had 2 deer there most of the time. We will definitely be keeping this on our list to visit again in this area.
FIVE STARS AND VERY INEXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS. BETTER THAN A HOTEL! THANK YOU BILLIE!
The host was very quick to respond to any questions or requests I made. The home was accurately described and more than sufficient to make our stay pleasant.
The location of the home was right in the middle of town and close to everything, yet having a backyard the house felt like a welcoming home in a neighborhood...perfect. There was a wonderful hummingbird in the various trees and the home had a huge lyme tree...very great characteristics of a loved and well taken care of a neighborhood home.
Impressively, the home was less than 2-3 minutes from the Royal Gorge train station so that made our adventure on the train ride even more convenient.
The host, Billie, was very accommodating to our requests as well as initiated with me to make sure all was well. I felt very well welcomed and taken care of in the best way. Thank you Billie, and if you, family or friends are staying in Canyon city, I couldn't more highly recommend staying in this wonderful 2 bedroom 1 bath home. Thanks for allowing and caring for my brother and I to stay in your wonderful home.
Absolutely LOVED our stay. The house is adorable, pics don’t do justice. Very peaceful atmosphere. Very well stocked kitchen, with all the amenities many rentals never have, even had ziplocks, Tupperware, and all kinds of spices. You can tell a lot of care and thought has gone into stocking the home. Master bed was extremely comfortable. Billie was such an awesome host. We will be back!
This home is a quiet, lovely gem. It is equipped with everything we needed plus more. It is clean and cozy. Working with the owner was amazing and easy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was the perfect place to stay for our annual “Girls Trip ”! The house was so cute and comfortable. We really enjoyed mornings in the sun room with our tea and coffee. The backyard is beautiful. Absolutely enjoyed everything about this home. Will book again if we are ever back in the area. This was one of our favorite trips and staying here was a big reason why.
Responsive, friendly host. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Deer, birds, fox & neighborhood cats. Even had snow! The neighbors Christmas lights were so festive. Comfortable lodging with many amenities. Prepared Thanksgiving dinner easily. Large backyard with trees. Lovely setting
This house had everything we needed to meet the needs of family visiting. The house was clean and comfortable and Billie was super responsive. Will definitely rent again when family comes to town.
Spacious accommodations, and many nice amenities. The kitchen was truly fully stocked, which I appreciated. They even had resuable shopping bags, bicycles we could borrow, paper plates, and other conveniences. Easy access to the Gorge and the local activities. We saw deer in the front yard, and the area seemed safe. A great experience.
Rick and I loved the house. Plenty of room in the house with a beautiful yard. The trees are a wonderful site especially the ripe mulberrys. We enjoyed the tourist sites in the area.
My husband and I stayed for 5 days and couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, clean and pleasant stay! We loved exploring Canon City and the area around it, then going back to the house and kicking back! Billie was so quick to respond for everything we needed- thank you!
We’ll be back!!
We had a wonderful stay a the Canon House. Our host went above and beyond by providing all of the things that made our stay more enjoyable. The little touches like providing extra trash bags, dish washing detergent, and laundry detergent were much appreciated. The house is fully equipped with all of necessary extra kitchen appliances. Our host also provided us with brochures and information that outlined local activities of interest. The Canon City house is located on a quiet street and we really appreciated having deer visit the yard nightly during our stay.
