The staff is warm and welcoming and our deck was 3 feet from the pool which overlooks the ocean a few steps below. It is located in a small quite village with many small restaurant but if you want more action many of the restaurants in Canadista will give you a ride there and back or you can have a driver take you for $4-5."

They moved calmly and peacefully through the forest, completely at ease with my quiet presence. It was a magical and truly unique experience. Beyond the wildlife encounters, everything at Maya Ubud was exceptional. The meals were consistently delicious, the resort grounds were immaculate and lush, and the service was flawless — attentive without being intrusive. Each evening brought beautiful traditional entertainment that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. Maya Ubud is a place where nature, culture, and comfort come together effortlessly. It’s serene, elegant, and full of those small, special moments that stay with you long after you leave."

The food was so delicious. The only thing we didnt like was that there were a lot of bugs. But its expected when you are staying in that area. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is staying in Ubud!"

Spent my 30th birthday here because I really wanted to wake up in the jungle and that’s exactly what this delivered. The grounds are absolutely stunning and everywhere you look is a jaw dropping view. You HAVE to visit the spa. It is the most beautiful spa in the world set inside the jungle. We ordered the flower pool as well for my 30th birthday and it was beautiful. Overall this might be my favorite hotel i have ever stayed in. The bugs and animals at night were a doozy but it comes with the territory of staying in this location. "
