Spacious open kitchen with island seating & large dining area. Reading nooks, cozy furnishings & gas fireplaces make this a relaxing getaway for 6+ guests. Lake access just minutes away, minutes from main st & shopping area. Close to wineries, breweries, ski resort, CMAC & activities. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends or family vacay.
As you ascend the stairs of The Grey Lady, you will be greeted with gorgeous lake views from the wraparound deck, with features ample dining and lounge seating areas. Plenty of free parking for up to 5 cars is provided in the driveway.
As you enter, you will find an open floor plan with cathedral ceiling, modern kitchen, dining area and reading nooks. Enjoy gorgeous lake views through the wall of windows!
The kitchen is well-stocked with any tool you may need, including spices and oil. There is a propane gas grill on the deck for outdoor cooking. Melamine dishes are provided for outdoor dining.
The second floor also features a half bath, as well as the primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom, king bed and tv.
Downstairs you will find a comfy entertainment room with 55" HDTV and apple tv (guests provide their own streaming logins) Guests are welcome to use the laundry room with front-loading washer & dryer. This floor as has a full bathroom with shower/tub combo, 2 bedrooms + bonus room. The bed layout on this floor is 1 king, 1 full & 1 twin, 1 queen. All the bedrooms feature memory foam mattresses, dressers, closets and luggage racks. All bedding and towels are 100% cotton, with plenty of pillows, blankets and beach towels provided.
Finally, relax in the evenings around the garden area fire pit with cocktails, s'mores and conversation. The property is close to everything but feels very secluded.
Need activities? The house is a short 8 minute drive to downtown, CMAC and shopping area with Wegmans, Walmart and Lakeshore wines. Not far away are tasting rooms, Other Half Brewing (recommended!), Bristol Mountain, City of Rochester and nearby lakes (Seneca, Keuka and Honeoye) Two boat launches are 5 minutes away, as well as Ononda Park and Butler Beach for swimming and sunbathing.

The house and view were absolutely beautiful! The host was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the fire places and all the extra details to make it feel like home! Just a quick drive to downtown Canandaigua. We hope to come back one day. Thank you so much for a great stay!

What sold me and my family on this property was the photos of the location and they did not do it justice! This location is absolutely breathtaking inside and out! My personal favorite was the open kitchen into the dining area and the outside patio overlooking Canandaigua Lake! The downstairs living and bedrooms were so cozy and inviting! We used every space of this property and loved our six day stay! The one thing I would suggest is additional umbrellas for the outside patio that gets very hot during the day! We would most definitely consider booking this location again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful home! Perfect for my family, and the 7 of us all had very nice accommodations. Our property manager Jessica was very nice, and took care of a one small glitch right away. We were in town for a week, for my family reunion, and we had a wonderful stay.

Very enjoyable winter weekend
We had a wonderful winter weekend at this lovely home. The house was well-appointed and cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed and enjoyed hanging out in the spacious kitchen and by the fireplaces. I would definitely recommend it to others!

Beautiful Thanksgiving!
This place is absolutely perfect for entertaining!
Open kitchen/dining room with small lounge area upstairs. The kitchen has absolutely everything. We cooked a Thanksgiving dinner for 8 with no frustrations!
The downstairs, using the open staircase, has 3 beds and comfortable living area.
The upstairs also has a master bedroom with a fabulous bathroom and very large shower with multi shower heads!
Also no worries about keeping warm in cold weather with 2 gas fireplaces and individual thermostats.
We were there 5 nights and 1 of the days we were able to sit on the deck overlooking the lake in the beautiful sunshine. The lake is visable from the upstairs and sunshine (when out) shines through the house all day long, absolutely beautiful!
All that is described on the site is as you will find it!
Jessica, your host, was extremely prompt with all correspondence and responsive to queries when we were on site.
Clearly a place worth booking...worthy of the 5 stars the receive!!

Great cozy home.
This was a great place to stay and the location is beautiful next to the lake. We were close enough to restaurants but away enough to admire the lake’s scenery. I would definitely recommend staying and would stay again. The hosts were also very responsive and welcoming!

Great stay
House was better than I expected. Master bath is very nice. House was clean. Not right on lake but I knew that. Great view of lake from kitchen and deck nonetheless.
Private location. Very well stocked - spices, cookware, etc. I would go back.

Great for girls weekend
Amazing property ! We loved our girls weekend here - enjoyed meals on the deck with a view and were close enough to enjoy the town. House was beautiful and clean.

Wonderful gathering for a wedding
The home is clean, and comfortable. Everything you might need to cook or b-que is provided. It is a warm home, and quiet area with a gorgeous view of the lake.

Fantastic!
The property was stunning—beautiful and spacious, overlooking the lake. Many areas to chill and enjoy the peaceful environment. We so enjoyed our time here!
