Not a modern hotel but wonderfully spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable suites with a relaxed feel. Add to this the friendly and kind staff and this somewhat tired hotel is an excellent place to base yourself when visiting Campbell River. And boy what a wonderful view right across from the Discovery Passage - bring your binoculars!

We have stayed here a number of times in the past but will be rethinking this place in the future. There was only one staff working who was working all shifts and tried to do all duties and was very pleasant to deal. Maintenance is needed in the rooms though they were clean. Breakfast was not as good as in the past.

Room was in poor condition. Carpets dirty. Smell was indescribable, Toilet seat not attached. Mirror cracked Soap dispenser broke, but parts left conveniently on counter..Walls so thin, it was as if they were in room with us. In fact turned off our early morn alarm out of concern with waking the dog next door . On a positive Staff we did connect with were friendly

Since I stayed there for only 2 nights, I hadn't try the washing facility. My room was having a ocean view. I would say the view was excellent. Staff there were nice and friendly. The breakfast was good.
