"Ok so let me say , I have stayed at many a hotel but this stay surpassed them all honestly. We were greeted at the front desk and I want to say her name is Nancy and I’m sorry if I got that wrong , but she was lovely and took my daughter and I on a tour of this historic inn. Felicia the manager upgraded our room to a colonial double on the second floor when she learned my daughter and I were interested in the ghostly happenings recorded at this inn. It was my daughter’s 30th birthday and we got to our room and found a birthday card waiting for her there. Such a kind gesture and much appreciated. We did experience some very friendly ghostly activity which made our stay even better. Their restaurant located in the inn was excellent ! If you go you need to get the garlic bread tower.. so good ! George Washington has stayed here as well as other very worldly Presidents and historic figures. I won’t spoil it for you as for us it was so much fun hearing about the history by its staff members. The rooms themselves are very small and basic which adds to its appeal . The beds were very comfortable and the bath had all the amenities. This inn is one I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again honestly ! Thank you to the staff who made our stay so memorable ! Customer Service is very strong here! @generalstantoninn"
