Every summer for the past 7 years close to our Anniversary, Lynn and I stay an extended weekend in the Placerville, California area located in the Sierra foothills. This year we stayed in the nearby Apple Hill. Apple Hill is renowned for its orchards, wineries, and farms. Although each farm has something different to offer, we enjoy the apple donuts and pies. Apple wines and beer are also available for tasting. This photo is on the farm we stayed this weekend. The farm grows Christmas Trees and has a wedding venue at this pond.

"We had a wonderful time getting away for a long weekend with family. The house is beautiful and is very clean, bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. "The home was a nice place for our stay while visiting our son for his graduation from UC Davis. We also wanted to visit lake tahoe while here. The home was clean and located in a quite location. Has a nice view of the hills nearby and we saw deer, rabbits, quail , and plenty of turkeys every day."

"I loved everything I have no complaints we enjoyed our stay, took a walk around the lake near by and enjoyed the game room and fire pit, also loved that there was indoor parking. There were even a family deer that visited the front yard one of the days. Would happily stay here again."

"Hubby didn't like how the shower in the master bedroom didn't heat quickly as it should. Hot tub is more like a warm tub, but a GREAT hottub. 2 Bucket seat style areas and 1 that gets your hips real good with the pressure. Really good tub! Heat not super hot tho. The house was almost 90 degrees when we checked in. Itd be nice if it was programmed to be cool if the owner has control over that. BUT that is a big ask lol! I loved the place. "I loved everything about this place and did not want to leave (stayed until checkout time). My room’s (Arbor) door/wall was a sliding glass door with key lock. The room is right above the beachy backyard/pool and had an amazing full view of a forested valley. The 10ish stairs up to door are narrow and kinda steep. Large bathroom, TV, great AC, mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, iron/board, comfy chairs, folding tables. Slept really well both nights. Breakfast (2 for 2 nights) were served right at 9am on sweet patio table and both delish and filling. Sorry, no pic of room but it was spacious and cozy at same time. Total privacy. BnB was always quiet when I walked thru. "
