The hotel is in a great spot — right next to the beach and within easy walking distance of the town center. The rooftop terrace offers beautiful sea views and is definitely the highlight. Our stay, however, was just average. The room felt a bit dated and could have been cleaner. The beds were quite hard, and since our room faced the street, it was sometimes noisy at night and not very well soundproofed. We asked for a room upgrade with a sea view, but were told the hotel was fully booked — although it didn’t really feel that way during our stay. Breakfast was okay but repetitive. All in all, it’s fine for a few days by the sea, mainly because of the location, but if you’re looking for more comfort and a quieter experience, there are better options in Calpe.

Excellent location. Lovely rooftop pool and bar, shame it closed at 8pm. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were friendly. Disappointed to not be given clean towels during our three day stay, if we wanted a change of towel they charge € 7 The lounge bar is very small so many people were disappointed at not getting a seat.

Great location and lovely roof top bar and pool. Rooms clean etc. Only issue was restaurant is a free for all buffet breakfast/ dinne.

Very well maintained hotel with lovely rooftop. The rooms with sea view are fantastic. The rooftop pool was a highlight as you can spend the day there, watching the sunrise and sunset, sunbathe and cool off with a swim; and the rooftop bar had great selection of food and drinks. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of variety and tasty bites.

Overall a nice hotel in a good location

Very nice hotel. Had a sea view on 6th floor with beautiful views. Very vlean and comfortable. Dont understand why Spanish hotels have such poor ventilation in bathrooms. Just had B&b. Food was reasonably good but not a huge choice for breakfast

Enjoyable..

I enjoyed my stay at the Bahia but the only problem was the sound from chairs being dragged around out on the balconys late at night into early hours of the morning. The construction or the chairs make a lot of noise from all the levels. The staff were all great and if we could get over those chairs I would love to come back for another stay.

This is a lovely hotel in a great position overlooking the beach. It is meant to be dog friendly but other than being allowed in the room itself, we didn’t find it to be. Was told by reception staff that we could take our dog to the roof top bar but when we got there we were turned away. Not allowed at breakfast either and no alternatives provided. We are in reception area.

Disappointed with tired appearance of room. It was very clean and the bed linen and towels were good. No coffee or tea making facilities? Television service very bad. Breakfast was a nightmare . Dreadful service only two guys available to clear used tables! Breakfast food was good. I am a property owner in Calpe and had to use the hotel whilst my family visited, other family members stayed in the hotel o will leave it to them to give there comments however it was not a great experience for my wife and I, as we will repeat large family gatherings in the future I will seek a different hotel

The receptionist was very friendly and really lovely. The first impression of our room with extra beds and a large terrace was also really good. However, we were unable to lock the door to the terrace, the kettle leaked all over the tray it stood on and then over the floor. It looked as though the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned as there were lots of stains and marks beside the sink. Breakfast was good with lots of choice for those who preferred cooked breakfast or continental but the atmosphere and lay out was more “work canteen” then expected from a 4 *establishment. We had to search out cutlery etc as none laid up on our table. Really sad to say that it would never be our first choice again.

Hotel was passable room's nice size and clean. The lifts were a nightmare sometimes, to many people for 3 lifts waiting to long, And as for the restaurant at breakfast what a complete shambles it was "MANIC" had a job finding a seat tables left full of dirty dishes not a pleasant experience we were rather let down. Food was OK but was always on the cold side. Think we would pay a bit extra for a better hotel next time.
