"The hot water handle in the room was not working properly and we were not able to shut off the water at night. Additionally, there was no onsite maintenance staff to assist with the hot water issue. The hotel needs a makeover as it looked and smelled terrible."

"Somehow we got a really great deal on Mother's Day weekend and the place was packed. We came here again for the various hot tubs. We have been coming here for years. Most times it can be family friendly, but it's a hit and miss depending on the guests. The rooms and hallways are pretty dated, but the city of Desert Hot Springs is investing in improving the main street with the installation of center islands in the road with nice landscaping. The people who work here at Miracle Springs try to do a good job of serving the guests, and the property has a lot of potential but it's in need of a renovation."

"Room was outdated and needed lots of maintenance. The window curtains had smudges and the room smelled old and stuffy. The staff was ok. The outdoor pool did not seem the cleanest and needed some upkeep and renovating. Dining at the in-house restaurant was OK but not great. Stayed there about 8 to 9 years ago and it was much better. Probably wouldn’t stay there again."

"Took my mother and daughter for a weekend getaway. They were blown away. It’s more beautiful in person. Our room was spacious and very clean. We toured on our own instead of taking the guided tour due to my mom’s advanced age. They have plenty of elevators. We dined at the mission restaurant in the outer court. It was magnificent and it felt like we were somewhere else (not California). I am looking forward to taking my dad in the near future. "
