The included breakfast and raking was a convenient touch. The room was very comfortable and chic. The staff ere so friendly. The location was perfect. The only thing I wish the pool was heated in the colder season :) everything was amazing though!!!

We stayed for one night and everything was perfect! We could easily walk to visit Dali’s house, and to get to centre ville. The staff was very friendly and we had a delicious breakfast.

Quiet retreat

Really beautiful location. Bit of a walk (uphill both ways somehow) from the city center but there’s beaches on both sides. Very friendly staff. Excellent customer service. I ended up extending my stay and they were very accommodating. Onsite restaurant was great!

Room was lovely, staff was excellent especially one young man from Bolivia at the front desk. He was so attentive and kind, so was the evening waitress (she is Phillppino)). Really exceptional young people. Breakfast was very good with lots of selection. My only complaint was the restaurant and that why 3/5 stars in amenities. We ordered dinner on our first night, it wasn’t just bad, the paella was inedible. The salmon was just so-so. Kitchen was a huge disappointment.

Great stay.

3 nights in self catering suite, outside area to sit in too. Lovely food. Breakfast good. We drive a Tesla and it grounded on the change of gradient into the hotel.

Best pet friendly option in Cadaques

Well maintained Hotel next to Dali’s house. Great views over the bay at sunset. Pet friendly. Free parking. You do however need to be fit for the steep 20 minute walk to the center of wonderful Cadaques.

We had a nice stay! The hotel is quaint and lovely, with small but very clean and comfortable rooms. The pool area was beautiful, and the complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of healthy and delicious options. The location was excellent and very walkable, which made exploring easy. The only downsides were not having a “Do Not Disturb” sign (so housekeeping knocked daily), so you couldn’t sleep in. There was no full-length mirror in the room, or hotel, which would have been helpful since we were there for a wedding and needed to see my dress. And there were times when I waited by the bar area for 10 min. to order a water, waiting for an employee to come back there, it was empty. Maybe short of staff? Overall though, a lovely and enjoyable stay!

This place is incredibly gorgeous and serene. Literally right next door to Salvador Dali house/museum. It is outside of town proper but an easy 3 min drive and Cadaques has a free parking lot! We loved this place so much that we decided to stay an extra day. Our second favorite hotel in a 3 week visit.

Hotel Calina was chosen as it was next to the Dali house and was the last stop on our Costa Brava tour. It wasn't cheap at 300 Euros for the one night. The room (unit 5) was clean albeit somewhat small; no space between bed and wall. Everything seemed to work ok including the AC. Food at breakfast was ok also. The biggest problem was the noise above us during the night. At 2:45am it started. At first, we thought that it was someone arriving from a late night out and expected it to stop. However, it continued with scraping/banging/ clatter until I gave up with trying to get back to sleep at 7am. I later realised that our unit was directly below the kitchen prep area and work must have started very early. So, consequently little or no sleep and was like a wet rag in the morning. The hotel offered apologies and did not charge the breakfast but no refund. Free breakfast is little or no use when you haven't slept. Was the worst experience of our trip. Never again and beware with unit 5!

The hotel was nice enough but please be aware there is no taxi service to the hotel from Cadaques and it is up a steep hill, I had to carry very heavy suitcases 200 metres up a steep hill to get to the bus station in town on my departure. Despite picking me up on my arrival they did not offer any transport when I left. I am 66 years old so this was not easy.
