Casa Marquina
Located in the centre of the beautiful village of Cadaqués, few steps away from Port Doguer beach, Casa Marquina is an exceptional villa offering spectacular views of the sea and the old town.
This old fisherman house, entirely renovated by local artisans and welcoming artists in residence, provides full comfort and all amenities for a vacation stay or creative retreat.
Carefully designed interiors and refreshing outdoor spaces will offer a taste of Catalan lifestyle and a peaceful gateway.
This 250m² townhouse offers four large double bedrooms, each with en-suite and spread over three floors. Exteriors include a patio, a rooftop and a parking space.
Ground floor entrance on Carrer Eduard Marquina opens on a lobby with a wet-bar, including stone sink and mini-refrigerators. The first en-suite bedroom is carved into the rock under ancient vaults and a large wooden platform that can be set up as one double bed or two single beds.
The first floor has two spacious en-suite double bedrooms and is tempered by air-conditioning. The sea-side bedroom opens on a balcony and features a large bathtub and a well fitted wardrobe. The mountain-side bedroom, lulled by gentle light entering through large windows, has a walk-in shower, a small desk and a dressing room.
On the second floor, the living room offers generous volumes and an east-west crossing from the patio to the sea. It benefits from a very comfortable configuration with a fully equipped open kitchen, a large dining table for 8-10 people, and a cozy lounge with a fireplace and music & video systems. Stairs lead to the mezzanine and sundeck with a plancha, an outdoor table and sunbathing chairs.
The patio stages an extra outdoor lounge space with Mediterranean vegetation. There is a traditional barbecue and a small water point to cool down during warm days. Be mindful that the water point is not secured for children but can be covered. The last en-suite double bedroom is fully independent and overlooking the patio. The courtyard culminates with a parking or workout space and a second entrance on Carrer des Colomer.
La Casa Marquina is rented fully equipped, with bed linen, towels, heating, wifi and complementary housekeeping services are available on demand.
