My husband and I stayed here for the month of November 2022 and we had adult children and grandchildren visit. This was our second stay in the neighborhood which seems to be always under construction. The unit was not very clean when we arrived especially the fridge. We cleaned it thoroughly and Jorge arranged for cleaners to come over right away to clean the condo. The washer was a combo washer/dryer but I didn't know how to use it. Beds were comfortable but couch was not. There were several issues with the condo which Jorge addressed immediately. Jorge was very prompt in bringing us water and anything else we needed. The kitchen utensils including pots and pans need to be updated as they are very scratched and rusty. They also need different / better utensils including spatulas, corkscrew, citrus press and strainers as many items were either broken or missing. It would also be helpful to have a binder in the unit with instructions on how things work, condo rules, where to shop for groceries, etc. The condo itself needs some TLC as some of the cabinetry in bathrooms & kitchen is broken and off the hinges. Kitchen drainboard is built into the sink but the slope is wrong and water drains onto the countertop. Many cabinets are off kilter and very scratched. Some cabinets in the bedrooms are not usable because the beds block them from being opened.
There are many families living in this complex and it seems as if most of them have dogs. There was constant noise from either dogs barking or construction. We were woken up several times to the sound of a pneumatic cement gun, sounded like shots being fired right outside our bedroom! All of the people working at the complex were very friendly. Location of the complex is convenient to Costco, Fresko and Wal-Mart. Highly recommend getting a reservation at el Huerto Farm to Table Restaurant just down the hill. Pricey but we had 2 wonderful meals there. The swimming pool was fantastic for all of us, especially our grandchildren. Unfortunately the pool is not enough to bring us back to this unit for the price they are asking.
