We’ve been holidaying in this area for years and this is a great spot- next to Meelup Regional Park, a short bike ride or walk down to Old Dunsborough and the beach, with good walking tracks nearby. You can walk across the golf course to the beach (but watch out for mountain bikes).
The house is really nice - two stories with several decks which are nice at different times of day, depending on the sun and the breeze, with varying garden/bush/bay outlooks. Separate aircon units in the living area on each floor were very effective. The upper floor catches the sea breeze and was surprisingly cool, even in January. Lots of space for our big family (5 older kids) with two living areas and it was our dog’s favourite holiday house so far! The place was immaculately clean and Eve was great.
The only downside was that during hot weather, some of the bedrooms were hot overnight, but this is common in holiday homes in the south west in January so not unexpected. It was manageable by running the aircon overnight with bedroom doors open on hot nights, or opening screen doors to the breeze on cooler nights. We were happy with the house, tried to rebook for next year but someone had beaten us to it!
