"Start with the positives, communication was good and the most of the accommodation was as the pictures, the bathroom in particular was lovely.However, be aware that the stairs are very steep, if you have any mobility issues his could be a problem. "I booked this for a family trip but then was unable to come myself but my husband and son found the property very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The host was communicative and kind and stayed in touch before during and after the stay. Overall a fantastic experience and would recommend to others considering a stay here."

"The room was comfortable and quite spacious and the beds were also comfortable. The place is very convenient for the station and for public transport into the city and the University area. There are lots of food choices within the area including a large supermarket within walking distance. Our room on the front of the property was a bit noisy at night especially because it was so hot we needed the windows open. However it was generally fine and I would recommend it for visitors to the city."

Weekend Stopover.

"Dipped in to Derby to visit relatives on the way back from holiday and stayed Fri to Mon at Eastwood Hall. Beautiful location, lovely grounds, clean and spacious room (one of the bath robes was grubby but nit picking). Lots of secure parking, very friendly front of house staff and housekeeping were really on the ball. We will definitely stay again when next down that way."
