New Home on South Toe River, Pet Friendly

The new Estatoe Oasis sits directly on the South Toe River on 16 private acres - awesome views of the river and Celo Knob. Sleeps 16: ten in upstairs bunk room, six in additional three king bedrooms. Master and upstairs bedroom both have en suite baths. Game room and workout room plus additional bedroom, full bathroom and laundry in basement. Two outdoor decks with fire pit, grill and two picnic tables on upper. Lower deck, with outdoor shower, is adjacent to basement with outdoor games plus a bar, pool table, foosball, karaoke stage and two Xboxes in basement.

Six kayaks and 16 tubes with life jackets provided.

Family’s B-day Celebration

The house is beautiful, well equipped for large gatherings. The roar of the Toe River was very soothing and a white noise for sleeping. We had 8 adults , all had their own bedroom and bathroom, but lots of bunks for younger kids. It was an amazing place to have a vacation.

Awesome stay

My family and group of friends that stayed at this property have stayed at a number of NC mountain and beach homes over the past ten years and this house is one of our all time favorites. Great location to keep the kids busy outside, whether it’s at the river or driving to nearby hikes. Owners were great to correspond with and the house has everything you need. Can’t wait to come back soon.

The perfect place to getaway and celebrate

My friends and I had a beautiful weekend at the cabin to celebrate my 40th birthday. The cabin is even more beautiful than the photos show. The kitchen was stocked well and the beds were all comfy. We spent much of our time under blankets on the cozy porch listening to the river. The journey down to the river is very steep but many of us were still able to bring the rafts down to enjoy some adventuring. I am already looking forward to visiting again someday.

Spectacular Cabin

The house is wonderfully decorated and spacious! The family enjoyed the game room downstairs and the view of the river from the porch. Unfortunately, the hike down to the river was an issue because it was quite steep and the gravel made it slippery. However, once you made it down to the river, it was beautiful.

Friend Oasis

We had such a wonderful time here. This was our second stay with our group of friends and little ones! This house is so well thought out, and the view is absolutely gorgeous! The sound of the river is so relaxing, and could have spent our whole time on the porch! We also ventured into town to check out Homeplace for pizza and brews, which was also great for little ones as it has plenty of space to run around outside, and also did some shopping. We all agreed we will be making this an annual trip!

River Oasis

This was a great spot on the river. Listening to the water of the river while sitting on the porch and taking in the scenery was so relaxing. The house had all the amenities and more and was thoughtfully designed to comfortably accommodate our group of four couples and two little ones. Also the karaoke and pool table were so fun and could not be heard on other floors so the little ones were able to sleep soundly while the adults sang songs and played games. We had a blast!

Amazing property

Wish we could have stayed much longer! The house and property were completely stocked with toys, games, kitchen supplies etc. Wish the water would have been much warmer so we could have enjoyed that was well but we definitely plan on coming back in the warmer season to take advantage of the amazing stream at the property. The owners were extremely quick to answer and questions we had and made sure we were happy upon arrival and departure!

Perfect Slice of Heaven

Estatoe Oasis is a home away from home! You will not be disappointed by anything here - we are repeat guests because of how special it is. The owners are fantastic! Location - can’t beat it! Amenities - has everything! We pack our clothes, 4 legged kiddos and off we go - it has everything you could need and more for a week off the grid. I recommend it to all my friends when they ask where we stay (we are picky lol) and it has not aged a day, well maintained and cared for. We bring our PlayStation (but it has Xboxes and games galore already), curl up by the indoor or outdoor fireplace, cook dinner in the gourmet kitchen, and embrace all the ambiance of the beautiful fixtures and surroundings. Heaven.

Gorgeous House in Idyllic Setting

Our stay at Estatoe Oasis was truly delightful. We couldn’t have felt more close to nature and yet pampered. The house was perfect for our four days with sons and granddaughters – roomy and well-appointed. Beautiful décor and plenty of options for indoors entertainment while enjoying the woods and river – plus, it was convenient to our favorite Blue Ridge attractions. We loved playing pool, Foosball, and Xbox and hamming it up one night on the karaoke stage. Best of all was just sitting on the decks, admiring the leafy, sun-dappled river below and green hills beyond. The more adventurous of us tubed from upstream to a hearty welcome at the steps below the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals for seven people. It’s a true oasis, a place of refreshing sustenance, but more: an outpost of adventure. Thank you, Bill and Sharon, for being fantastic hosts, quick to answer any questions, and always pleasant and gracious. I hope we’ll be able to return to Estatoe Oasis next year!

Amazing Mountain House on River

We stayed for 3 nights over Memorial Day Weekend. We were two families with kids ranging from ages 1-11. We made plans to do adventures and activities in the area but only managed to leave the home one time because there was so much to do at the house. We enjoyed some time in the river. We attempted to take two of the kayaks out but quickly found out that they had significant holes that made it difficult to stay afloat. We also were not able to locate the air compressor to inflate the tubes. Despite that, we enjoyed swimming in the cold water. We enjoyed the game room and played Xbox, foosball, and pool. The microphone for the karaoke was not working, which was a little disappointing. The kids loved the bunk room. The back porch and gas fire pit were amazing. Breathtaking views off the back porch. The property was incredibly nice and the home was spectacularly clean. We absolutely loved our time despite the minor issues. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Awesome Property

Pictures do not describe how beautiful this home is. Upon entering the house, you know it is clean and well cared for. Fresh smell and clean entrance are welcoming you! I can honestly say this is the cleanest, most well-maintained home we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked, and even the cabinets were organized! You never had to dig through "stuff" to find what you need. Every room was neat and clean. The finishes in the home were amazing; I loved the live edge wood and all the natural finishes. The decor was not over the top and cluttered like others; it was perfect. The beautiful porches were clean, and no cobwebs. At other properties we stayed at, we had to clean the entire porch before we even went outside. The beds were comfortable, and the grandchildren loved the bunk room. The lower level had games, 2 Xboxes, 2 TVs, and a pool table for entertainment. Outside, the lower level porch had cornhole. There are tubes to float and kayaks. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to use them. The exterior was also well maintained. The river below was a plus for my husband and grandkids as they went fishing and swimming. It is steep to get down, but once down, they had a great time. I would love to have stayed longer and hope to be back soon. I highly recommend this property.

We had the BEST time staying here. The house was by far the most well equipped rental we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need for a large family. The beds were super comfy. Great communication with the owner! The location is so beautiful and the river was so fun. It is very steep getting down to the river but kids ages 3 up made it without a problem. We hope to come back very soon!

The home was beautiful and very clean, fully furnished including the kitchen. All up-to-date appliances. Beds were really comfortable. The view from the balcony was so peaceful and pretty looking at the river. They even went swimming in the cold water! Everyone enjoyed the game room and the firepit. We came to the area for a wedding, so we didn't get to spend as much time in the house as we wanted to. However, we enjoyed every minute of it! The house is beautiful! Very well thought out and prepared. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. All of the extra touches were perfect. When we were not cooking we were on the deck with a fire listening to the river. We all want to come back and just spend time in the house taking advantage of all of the things to do!

The host was always very responsive and respectful. The house was beautiful and situated in a pretty area; it was great sitting on the porch with a fire and listening to the river. Lots of games and River equipment gave us plenty of fun activities to keep us busy without feeling the need to go anywhere else. And I appreciate the host providing supplies and toiletries for the house. Definitely would like to stay here again one day.
