Lovely space!

Lots of wonderful communal space in the house. We went on a great hike at Max Patch and enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and amazing porch view. Beds were comfortable too!

Wonderful House!

This spacious house was lovely, the view was amazing, the beds very comfortable, linens and towels were top quality, and the kitchen was the best stocked of any VRBO or AirB&B I’ve ever stayed in. There were too many terrific amenities and thoughtful touches to mention. We didn’t discover the game room till we were leaving. We’ll be back!

The Perfect Vacation

Property was beautiful! The house accommodated 3 families plus Gigi:). Views were spectacular! House was well equipped and even had a play/game room! We enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the golf course and cooked supper on the gas grill. I would highly recommend!!!

Graduation weekend

We rented this property for family coming into town for a graduation. We had a great time. The accommodations were great. Beds super comfortable. Easy checkin and checkout! Would book again!

Girls Trip 2024

Absolutely amazing time! The house could not have been any more perfect for our weekend girls trip that included 6 women. The house & location were exactly as described & included everything you could possibly need (even spare batteries). The ice maker was a pleasant bonus! My favorite place in the home was the combined living & dining areas. We spent hours sitting around talking, eating, laughing, drinking & catching up. The house was large enough that everyone had their own space & were comfortable. The fireplace made the home so cozy (FYI there is not a remote or switch, you must turn it on & off w/the knob inside the grate) & the hot tub was a huge hit! The beds were incredibly comfortable! The water pressure in the showers was amazing and the hot water was HOT! 🔥 We had 3 very small issues that needed to be addressed with the management company & they were wonderful to work with in getting the issues resolved quickly & efficiently. They were very apologetic for the minimal inconvenience to us. I have been renting vacation homes for years & this home was by far the very best home I have ever stayed in. Thank you for a wonderful time making unforgettable memories with some of my most favorite people! We hope to be back again!

Grateful for a space to share with my entire family that was large enough to house all of us at the same time. The layout was absolutely perfect, with ensuites! Love the main living space, fireplace was a great backdrop for the wintery mornings. Thank you for allowing us to have a later check out, we all really appreciated it.

Excellent

The house and location were truly beautiful! Our group really enjoyed the house and would like to return again. The only suggestion I have is in that the owners should change the vacation rental listing from 5 and 1/2 baths to reflect more accurately the 4 and 1/2 baths. Luckily our group size was fine with the 4 and 1/2 baths because everyone did manage to have their own individual bathrooms.

Dbl beds in master? Mattress shot. Wallpaper peeling off wall. Main ice maker broke at bar. Elevator broke. Nice lay out through house with dining room table that seats 12.

We had an amazing visit in this beautiful home. It was stocked with everything we needed and then some. It even came with a beautiful view of the sunrise and the sunset.

Thanksgiving in the Mountains

This was our second time staying at this property. The property was perfectly clean, the multiple zone heating worked well for all levels and the home is well equipped for dishes which supported our ability to cook for a large group. The wifi was string and supported everyone's devices. The house works for a large group. With 4 full baths and a jack and jill, it worked great for our family. The house has multiple communal areas but also a lot of indoor and outdoor space for everyone to still have privacy and alone time. Mountain Air is a beautiful welcoming community and the property has stunning views. We would definitely recommend this property and we will likely stay there again.

Good House, Not well Maintained

When we arrived the house was not clean but we called and the housekeeper came and spent 2 1/2 hours recleaning and leaving appropriate number of clean towels. The floors and stairs were not vacuumed, there was broken plastic on the floor, many burnt out lights, the elevator does not work, there is a broken blind in the full bedroom. The wine cabinet is missing some glass, the mini fridge on main level does not work and on and on. When we arrived we were given the wrong code, but figured it out. Carpets are stained and need cleaning. The house fit our purpose for a family gathering, but it really needs upkeep. Also, the driveway was loaded with leaves and small branches when we arrived and the advertised garage was filled with a ping pong table and thus not able to park our cars in it.

That Mountain Air

We moved Mountain Air ! It was a little farther from Asheville than we liked but beautiful nonetheless. The house had amazing views and was comfortable. The main level did not heat well and we were a bit disappointed by the fireplaces not being turned on. Being from FL, we were trying to get the entire experience. But overall we would stay at this property again .

Great house setup for large groups

Nice home

This is a nice home located in a golf community. The home was just as described, very spacious with ample rooms and bathrooms. It may use an update soon, but overall was a nice stay. The mountain top view and landing strip were pretty cool too!

Family Reunion

Despite some amenities not functioning, the stay was great. Loved the morning views over coffee and visits, reading on private porches, 2 people with health issues appreciated the elevator which doubled as a dumb waiter for luggage. Comment: we were on the ground floor and noises from other floors traveled to us.

Gorgeous home in not quite perfect condition

Beautiful home with gorgeous views, very peaceful location, well stocked. Huge dining table to accommodate many mouths. Overall was a great stay. Only complaint was for what we paid the house was not in perfect condition- several of the bedrooms had a shade that was broken so couldn't be raised, the bathroom door in one suite couldn't stay closed, several blankets were musty. All easily fixed so hopefully will be.

Large house for family

We were very appreciative that the company relocated us to another available property when our reservation became unavailable due to a natural disaster. They relocated us to another house of the same size and we generally enjoyed our stay. The house was not clean upon arrival, but they sent a crew out quickly to clean and we are satisfied with how the situation was resolved. Rhododendrum Villa is a house great for a large family; watching a movie in the theatre is a great rainy day activity! We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the unique decor of the home.

Great Stay

Loved the area. Really cute shops and great golf at MT Mitchell. Beautiful mountain views and the home is gorgeous. The kitchen worked well as we cooked each night. Will definitely book again in the future.
