Though I didn't use the gym or pool, they also looked well maintained. While the hotel is located in an oversized parking lot, it connects to many retail, food, and entertainment options. I was visiting to explore Starved Rock, which was a short drive away; my recommendation - try the local restaurants and stay away from the national chains if you can!
