「Our experience at this place was extremely disappointing. While the food was excellent, everything else fell far below expectations. There was no electricity; despite being solar-powered, we ran out of power entirely. Then we lost access to water. This is unacceptable, especially during the rainy season in the Philippines. 「The staff was very accomodating with our requests and informative with activities we can do around the resort. The place was very quiet and was able to provide me with a much needed break from a busy life. The views were amazing. All in all, it was an amazing experience made easier by their staff. As this is an "off-grid" stay out in the outbacks of Palawan, a bit of dust and dirt everywhere is expected. But the staff made efforts to provide us with anything we needed to stay comfortable. 」

I never stayed in the dorm area as they were all booked so no comment there. I had a loft style room. The stairs up to it were very steep. I can see someone falling on the way down if they've had a few too many. One of the steps was very rotted out and felt like it may give way any day. New Year’s Eve event was horrible, most of the things promised didn’t happen & food left a lot to desire for. Overall not a world class 3 star resort even. 「Breakfast was limited. Went to eat at 8am and most of customers ate the food early. Not satisfied with the staff. Coffee and fruit cups were out. Needed to ask for the cups and they give me the coffee cup for fruit drinks. Some food were almost emptied. I paid lot of money to enjoy my time off. Hope they can improve next time. 」
