"Only hotel that I saw in the area, but well worth the price! The owners keep everything shipshape! The pool looked so inviting but we didn’t swim. We walked a lot at historical sites and museums so we didn’t work out but they have a small one that looked very clean! Front desk people were super friendly and helpful… our room/bathroom was clean and bed very comfortable!"

"This unusually private cabin in the woods was exceptionally good with one caveat. Very comfortable and well stocked and very reasonably priced. Only shortcoming is the second bedroom and bathroom are sized for kids more than adults - wasn’t expecting that but managed ok. Bathroom needs some racks or hooks somewhere. Kitchen all good. A number of amenities which we didn’t use. Perfect for two adults with kids."

"We agree with other reviews about the setting, views, etc. For us, the best part was sitting on the porch and using our Merlin app. We heard a large variety of bird species, and saw lots of them, including ones mostly seen only in treetops. The sunsets, trains, mountain views- all excellent!"

"Exterior door was broken so no security. Breakfast was pathetic Broken toaster and juice machine. Food quality was poor. Bath towel had multiple holes in it We are not going to stay at this hotel chain again."

"Room 101 beds were clunky, and noisy, making godawful sounds. Bathroom fan is going to burn up a bearing as it makes a horrible screeching noise. You have part of a coffee maker in there but no pot and no coffee. We learned from last time we stayed here to bring our own K cup maker."

"The lady that checked us in was friendly. Way out of date rooms. Chair in room was stained all over and you can see dirt stains. Side doors are broken so anyone can just walk in. Window opened by 1 of the stairs with broken screen. Room 217, where we stayed, no screen on window. Hot/ warm shower lasts about 1 - 2 minutes. The freezer has not been defrosted in several months. Paid $327 for 1 night. 20 minutes from Liberty University for my daughter's graduation. Now I see why they were half the price of other hotels. Others were going from at least $600 per night on graduation weekend. Hallways stunk also. The drink vending machine was broken. Breakfast, we did not eat. Extremely small counter for breakfast. 3 tables to eat at. We have stayed in many hotels for traveling and by far the worst one. We have stayed at other Super 8s that were nice. Parking lot is kinda small too. Location is ok with dollar tree and a gas station next to it. I really am trying to get some money back, that place was horrible. We checked in at 11pm due to Graduation Commencement that night (Friday)."

"The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We stayed three nights, left for the weekend, and then stayed two more nights in a different (wheelchair access) room. The wheelchair rooms are HUGE! Breakfast was fine if not exciting, and the staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly. We felt well taken care of. As an added bonus, you get 10% off your meal at the Fishin' Pig next door where we ate most nights, and it was spectacular, too!"
