Stayed for one night for a wedding - staff were kind and helpful and stored our bags for us. Room was clean and well furnished, the fluffy bath robes were a nice touch. A delightful hotel

A perfect setting, excellent food and very friendly and efficient service. Although I had a "compact" room, it was more than adequate. In delightful surroundings, the hotel has been an excellent stat point for touring Dartmoor.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding at Kingston Estate. Perfect location, beautiful room and comfy beds. Lots of power points which made getting ready easy. Breakfast was also really good. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Furzeleigh Mill. It is a boutique hotel that clearly prides itself on its ambiance and quality of service. The setting is excellent for anyone who wants to hike the moors, and the owner and staff were very helpful in providing directions to the best trails. We highly recommend staying here for a couple of days.

Lovely quaint hotel

Arrived Sunday afternoon. Welcomed by the multi tasking receptionist. Warm and friendly booked in shown to our room. Old timber beams ,great view of buckfast village. Ample tea coffee etc,compact shower and bathroom. Ideal for our needs, good price and a bar with more types of Gin thans good for you, lovely stay

Very kind & helpful staff. Good food in restaurant. Stairs to rooms are not for guests with mobility issues. Nice garden. Very firm bed. Hotel is of extra interest to visitors with artistic interests. Car is a necessity (see hotel's info for useful exceptions).

Warm, friendly welcome, food was excellent, room was small but good shower. Fluffy towels and a basket with most things you’d need. No water in the room but we didn’t ask. Nicely done up. Good breakfast. Would stay there again.

What a beaitifully decorated old building that is so comfortable. Decor wondeful, nice seating outside when the sun shines! Staff so helpful and go out their way for guests. Rooms comfortable but if you are tall be careful in Room 4 of the low beam, i managed to not hit it. Breakfast amazing and huge gin choice. Found it as had piggies and prosecco at Pennywell Farm booked. Will return to the area again and use Furzleigh Mill

Very comfortable

Right next to the A38, so convenient for Plymouth or Exeter, for example. Lovely setting, quiet, friendly and a lovely room. I didn’t eat or drink there, but the provided me with a breakfast bag as I had to leave early. Near a national trust site (the abbey, I think) and I expect a good base to explore the region as right on the edge of Dartmoor, I think and not too far from the south coast
