「Perfect little gem of a home along a canal leading directly to the river. Full of thoughtful touches. The dock was a happening place! We saw turtles, manatees, crabs, cranes and tons of different fish right from the house’s backyard dock. Would definitely stay here again!」

「I looked for a place for our family to get together for a vacation and also celebrate my mothers 90th birthday. I have 3 grown children and 2 grand kids 18 months and 3 years old. 「The house is adorable, clean, and has anything you could possibly need for your stay as home away from home, the owner keeps it very well supplied! There is so much to do within walking distance of the house, or a short drive! I would definitely book again!」

「Overall we were pleased with our stay. The beds were comfy, location was great, and property was overall exactly as described. Unfortunately, three of the adults were attacked by fire ants all over their feet in the backyard, but I did notify the homeowner and he was very apologetic and said he would get it taken care of before the next guests arrived. Overall, great stay and great communication with the owner!」

「Luckily we have been able to stay at multiple places on the main weeki wachee river. This house by far has the best location. It offer good river access behind the house shallow wading water and a lovely dock. The house is clean and well appointed. You will not regret booking this house for your WW vacation.」

「Outstanding location, near waterfront, tourist venues such as boat rentals, and several eateries. House was very clean and fully equipped. Although entirely satisfactory, this is an old house and has some quirks, such as a toilet sticking out of a closet in one bedroom and a very spongy floor in some places. We were happy with the house.」

「Our family was looking for an all in one place by the river to stay, and Joanne’s house hit the mark. The house was large enough for a family of five to sleep comfortably, and with the water out back we spent hours fishing and kayaking. We also loved making s’mores each night at the fire pit. The property was calm, quiet, and beautiful, and from start to finish I couldn’t have been happier with communication and support from our host.」

「This was a repeat visit. Check-in was easy. Communication was good. The location of this house is perfect! We kayaked from the State Park to the house every day. The house is also close to Rogers Park and the Upper Deck. So you can kayak to the park or even enjoy the manatee from the Upper Deck Restaurant. Every evening, we sat by the fire and watched manatee, lots of otter, owls, and fireflies. It was beautiful.」

「Spent our anniversary weekend at the cottage. Went to homosassa and Crystal river on boat tours. We used the peddle boat at the cottage and went down the canal. At end if canal was an Emu island, very interesting as they even had an alpaca. Cottage was well supplied. Even caught a bass fish in the canal. Place was a litle tricky to find as the cottage is tucked in on their property but they were home to guide us. Very relaxing weekend getaway」
