「The general stay was good however, I contacted the host via the app a few times and never got a response. Also the sofas in the back room were terrible and very uncomfortable, they all need to be refilled or changed. My sister who joined us is pregnant and found it very uncomfortable to rest there. The room with the kitchen had too many tables and chairs and instead having sofas would have been nice there with the one set of table and chairs. 「We had no hot water the whole time we were there. You cant get hold of the owner, they don't seem to care. Also there are no fans provided and the pod retains heat so it unbearable in the hot days. 」

「Although The Lodge is very small, it truly has everything you need. Its rural situation is very peaceful — we found it deeply relaxing to sit out in the garden in the evenings. There is plenty to explore locally: pretty towns and beautiful countryside. I have no hesitation in recommending this place. The only small downside for us here was that a lot of the local roads are single track, driving on which we do not enjoy! 」
