The old rusty wreck of the HMQS Gayundah has been protecting the shores at Woody Point, in the Moreton Bay Marine Park, since 1921. First commissioned in 1884 she is succumbing to the ocean that she once defended. #shipwreck #blue #water @queensland
This is the William Jolly Bridge in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.  The Brisbane City Council lights up some of the buildings and bridges for special occasions and to support causes.  The light installation illuminating the bridge here was to celebrate Australia Day.
Wellington Point, South East of Brisbane on the coast is such a great place for sunrise or sunset.  The land mass juts out for perfect photographic opportunities. Whether it's low tide or high you'll see its beauty.  Great picnic areas and walks abound the foreshore along with the mangroves.

To be asked to pay $8 for a bowl and spoon to be delivered to my room so I can have breakfast - when paying close to $300 a night is ridiculous. To be woken at 8am when maintenance is drilling next to my room also not good enough.
