「The beds are like sleeping on clouds, but you need a better movie selection. Beautiful spot on the river.Lots of privacy, lots of wildlife in the area.And you don't really need videos to have a good time there. I love everything about the place very beautiful and relaxing weekend differently coming back.」

「This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. I suggest bringing life jackets for the kids (didn't see any with the boats, but we already had our own) and a couple small extension cords (the 3 foot kind) just for...

「I have never stayed in a cleaner cabin! I was pleasantly surprised that they ask you to remove your shoes in the cabin, which was extremely nice since we have a 14 month old. It was a great secluded location. The shower head had a lot of pressure which was nice. More short term rental folks could take notes from these folks! They had hooks everywhere. 「Did not use bunk house but cabin was perfect size for 2-4 people. It was clean and comfortable. Great place to launch day trips and an even better place to come back to. Access to beach right out the door and can watch freighters come and go day and night. Hard to beat!」

「We really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was clean and had most everything in the description. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and we watched a couple of movies in the vcr. We had a fire outside every night and had fun in the kayaks. The only things we found negative were lack of hate for the stairs and no life jackets. Thankfully the lack is shallow for a ways. If you are looking for a five star hotel this is not your place. If you are looking for a quiet place on a lake to enjoy time...

「Wow! We were absolutely amazed by the wonderful hospitality of these hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed and provide such a peaceful and gorgeous setting on Sugar Island.
