I enjoyed staying within walking distance of the main campus of the University of Western Brittany (UBO) where I had some meetings. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. But one light bulb was broken and the internet was so spotty that I could not use my laptop. Still, all considered, good value for my money.

Will Stay Again

This was a good location. I stayed here with my mom. We found it convenient to walk into downtown from the hotel. I was happy that there was free off street parking. That was the deciding factor me in the end. The front desk provided excellent service. Every question I had, they were gracious and helpful. There are a few cosmetic issues - peeling plaster or paint in the shower in one room and a broken bedside light in the other, but the nice location and parking lot parking mattered WAY more. So much that after our initial two night stay I booked a second one night stay two weeks later when I was back in the area.

Booked this hotel as the name suggested it was in the centre of Brest. It was, but not in the centre of the restaurants or cafes. It was a good 20 minutes walk to the main strip. At the weekend, the restaurant and bar were closed as it was fairly quiet. Was open on Monday as there were so many workmen and white vans. Staff at reception not particularly chatty.

Our room was facing the front of the hotel. Unfortunately the traffic on that road is very noisy. We had to be up at 0430 to go to the airport but were awake from 0230 because of the road noise. As the room was very hot we had to have the window open.

Worst experience I’ve ever had, the service and management and trying to get them to reply is the worst. One of the employees went into my room in the middle of the night and then ran out, tried finding someone at the desk at the reception and no one was there or answering the phone, they promised compensation for the one night that someone got in to my room and then stopped replying and still haven’t gotten any money back, or en reply, worst ever. Don’t stay there.
