So we checked in and found out after dinner that the pool was closed for the season. On Memorial Day weekend they close pool. A/C did not keep up through the night. Ended up going to a different hotel.

The property is just tired. Air conditioning cannot keep up, no pools were in service; loose screws in door locks, loose screws in door handles. Just tired.

When we arrived around 3:30 pm no clerk was at the desk. We rang the bell no one appeared. We waited about 5 minutes and no response so we rang the bell again. After about another 5 minutes a clerk appeared, We got checked in only to be told the pool was closed by the health dept. We went to our room and the A/C was running but the room was extremely hot. After about an hour the room was not getting cooler. We asked the clerk to have our A/C checked then we went to supper. The clerk said she'd have to ask her manager. After we got back the room was still extremely hot, but we still waited. After another hour, we went to ask the clerk if they found anything on the A/C. The clerk was surprised by our question and we asked are you going to check it out. She said well I can give you a different room. We decided to go to the new room. At least the new room's A/C worked but every time the A/C cycled it made an extremely loud noise then cycled off. The noise was consistent and loud every time the A/C unit cycled. We were going to stay there 2 nights but could not get enough rest so we checked out and found another place to stay. We would not recommend this hotel unless they get their A/C units in better condition.

Decent place to sleep.
We have stayed at the hotel many times in the past and always loved it. Even had our wedding reception there. This was our worst experience out of many. We didn’t spend much time there due to both pools being down, basically there just to sleep. Air units need cleaned and updated. Ant control needed. Other than that the room was older but nice.

Sir,Upon researching your stay, you seem to have had a bad experience here, you requested a refund on your stay, i was unable to provide that refund due to you paying expedia. We happen to think our staff are very professional, and as far as the breakfast staff being belittled, I don't think you witnessed that at all. we have one kitchen staff and that's all, she is treated like the queen she is, she is one of the oldest staff members and has been on staff here for almost 20 years. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns for the staff, please feel free to contact the hotel directly.

Sadly our room had no working AC, had a random tv on the floor and the tv sitting on the table did not work. The room I think had not been cleaned since the last season. A couple who was checking in before us ended up trying 4 rooms and none had working ac. We were in the 3rd floor and there is some seriously compromised structural issues. The pathway to the rooms are not safe with massive weak spots, bad railing and the room has issues with the floor. No phone to call front desk. The lady who checked us in was very rude. So rude that she said to me “are you going to be like them if your ac isn’t state of the art?”When I checked out the guy acted shocked we were in that part of the hotel and said they were not usable. He told me to call Expedia to get a refund. I was not able to get a refund. Glad we survived this! Sadly will never stay there again. It’s just not safe and way past it’s prime.

Average stay
The facility was clean but slightly dated. Our room was extremely humid and had a damp smell even with the a/c running full the whole time. To be fair it was 100* out the day we checked in. There are several attractions within walking distance including restraunts. The breakfast area is spacious and there's something for everyone. We didn't use the pools but they appeared well kept.

Poor maintenance /Service
I was very disappointed, had stayed here many times before with no issues but this time was not so. First room we got didn't have a working TV and desk clerk couldn'tfix it and said there was no maintenance person, so had to move our stuff to new room. Outdoor pool was awful, water was cloudy and bottom of pool was green. Website still advertises hot tub in indoor pool area and it is no longer there. There was no phone in either of the rooms we were given, desk clerk told my son "some rooms have them, some don't". Rooms had been cleaned we were told but amenities were not put in the rooms when cleaned, had to go to desk and ask for them. Overall very dissatisfied with this stay, not sure if we will return to the Honeysuckle Inn. So sad to see a place we have always enjoyed staying at decline like this.

Stay away. Overbooked for multiple people.
We arrived. Overbooked. It seems like a large scale scam as we met three more traveler groups with the same experience. Plus we saw people you tried to switch their rooms for rooms with working water or AC. Front desk person was rude and didn't care anymore. Not surprising as she deals with similar situations probably every day. Stay away.

My wife and I have been going there for many years after the owner changed it has went downhill. We won't never stay there again. Unfriendly staff pools were broken no communication between office and residen no clean towels no cleaning of the rooms while you're staying. It used to be a very beautiful place to stay.

Convenient location
Convenient location. No one in office to check into hotel. So we had to hunt down office help. Bed was uncomfortable. No guest services. You had to leave towels outside door for pickup. We have stayed here many times before and the property has declined. Will probably stay again.

I will not stay here again! The room had a smokey smell. It was unclean and falling apart. The pull out mattress was in such poor shape that my 8 year old couldn't sleep on it. Breakfast was horrible! I do not recommend this property. I frequently stay at hotels and I always give an honest opinion. This Hotel needs torn down and rebuilt.

Excellent, friendly staff. Perfect for the price. The showers were a bit dated, very low shower head, but overall very happy with the stay. Will definitely recommend!

There is nothing I dislike about this property. It is close to everything i want to do but just out of tge main flow of traffic. I have Red Lobster, Golden Corral Cracker Barrel and Taco Bell really within walking distance.

When we arrived we turned on the heat and it smelled terrible and the fire alarm went off. We called the front desk and she came and said it probably smelled like that Cause the heat had not been turned on. But I showed her where the light in the unit said change the filter and she said she would get some one to work On it. We were there three days and they never replaced the filter.

The filter on the HVAC units in our rooms are made to be cleaned, not replaced. However, someone should have visited your room. I apologize if that did not get taken care of. Just like your furnace at home, the first time it gets turned on, dust on the coils inside the heater burns off, and produces a smoky smell, often triggering a smoke alarm. I apologize for the inconvenience this caused.

Our Comfort King rooms do offer a loveseat with a twin size pull-out bed, but that is the only room type we currently offer that has that as an option. Upgraded rooms including a refrigerator and microwave are available by request at a small upcharge.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with our property. This time of year, dust built up on heater coils burns off when the heater comes on, causing that bad smell and often setting off a smoke alarm without adequate ventilation. Our housekeepers have been working to have that done before guests arrive, and I apologize if they missed your room. As to housekeeping not entering your room, that is an ongoing COVID protocol, and that information should have been included with your confirmation when you booked your room. Thank you for staying with us. I hope you'll give us another try, and let us do better for you.

We have stayed here several times. It is convenient to area attractions, clean, quiet and feels safe. The lady who checked us in could have smiled and actually greeted me when I entered the office for check in. This is an older property, but has been kept up well. We are generally looking for a quiet place to sleep and this fits the bill. It is affordable yet clean and quiet.

No fridge no microwave bed sounding like you were laying on newspapers. Hole in bathroom wall carpet stained. Room coffee was cheap and not drinkable. WiFi was nonexistent very weak signal could barely connect outside but kicked off when in the room. Closet rack was caked with dirt. Worst place we have ever stayed in Branson and won’t stay there again even if it was free

Apologies. At this time, refrigerators and microwaves are not available in the budget room you requested. They are available at a slight upcharge upon request. Air Conditioning did not work the first night, it was really UNCOMFORTABLE, could not sleep. The Front desk lady was Super Nice. The food was not good, toaster didn't work right, the eggs were runny with water, the sauage was greasy.

I do apologize for the lack of in-room service during your stay. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our housekeeping staff does not enter a guest's room during their stay to prevent cross-contamination. However, having consulted our records, you did receive the room type you requested in your reservation, a double queen room that is upgraded to include a refrigerator and microwave. I'm not certain what else you may have expected, but the presence of those appliances in the room is what the upgrade provides.
