"My stay at the Red Roof PLUS+ Pittsburgh East – Monroeville was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome due to the rude and condescending attitude of the staff. Rather than addressing concerns professionally, interactions felt dismissive and unhelpful. More concerning was the overall atmosphere of the property. Several guests displayed hostile and aggressive behavior, creating an environment that felt unsafe and uncomfortable. There were incidents of loud disturbances, and I did not feel secure during my stay. When combined with the lack of professionalism from staff, the experience left me with little confidence that guest safety and satisfaction were priorities. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at Red Roof PLUS+ Pittsburgh East - Monroeville. Travelers looking for accommodations in the area may want to consider alternatives."

"The staff was friendly and polite. Truly the only nice part of our stay. There must have been some events in town so the cost was pretty high $300 for the night. Ours a no smoking property and our room smelled like there was a Grateful Dead concert held there. so much weed in the air it kept me awake. The dresser drawers had some kind of… I don’t know what inside of them.. dirt I guess. It looked like potting soil. The outside grounds were full of trash and debris and the landscaping was unkept and overgrown. If there had been any other options nearby we would have packed up and left. Oh… the breakfast…. Not a breakfast at all. Coffee, Tea, oatmeal packets and hot water. Wrapped muffins and nutrition grain bars. I didn’t expect much but that was not what I’m familiar with when the stay includes breakfast. For $100 a night give it 2.5 stars but for $300 I’m more inclined to say 1.5 tops."

"The room were absolutely disgusting. We have videos to prove it. We try to talk to management so that they could reimburse us or clean it or fix it in someway. The Man pretty much said he would take care of it left and never came back. Then we tried to talk to him over the phone and he continue to say that there was no probable cause even after we showed the video with blood and boogers and all types of other nastiness on the wall sheets and everywhere fuzz balls. It was absolutely gross. Do not recommend. still fighting to get my money back two weeks later."
