Our son lives in Charlestown so this is only a 10 minutes walk to his house. Very nice spot to stay for a few nights.

The staff were wonderful especially the young man at the desk (on the 3-12 shift) who was so friendly, welcoming and very efficient and professional. He is a keeper. The room was lovely or I should say suite. The breakfast was great....the only issue was parking. Why can't we park right outside the hotel iin the Marina parking lot and why such an enormous charge of $50 if you order valet which was full when we arrived so parkiing is an issue.

I was at the Residence in for a week. I loved the ample space and small kitchen in the rooms. Great hot breakfast, and very helpful staff. Close to TD Garden and downtown.

It was under construction in side and out and no one told us. Also, the walk way to the garden was closed and we were there for a hockey game. Lastly, the valet parking couldn’t drive a stick so I paid for valet and parked my own car!

I stayed there on April 3 with my grandchildren and my husband. We stayed in a suite on the fifth floor. 523 to be exact room. The carpeting was soaked with rain in one bedroom and the living room floor was soaked as well. After letting them know in the morning, they did nothing. Not even a credit of some kind for the inconvenience.

Our rooms were great, and the location is wonderful and has great views of Boston. From the hotel you can easily walk to sites like the USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument. The only downside is that it was overpriced relative to other hotels nearby.

Hotel rooms are very nice. Unfortunately visit we have made the pool has been closed. With small kids this is very hard. Once the pool is open will be a top notch facility. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great continental breakfast!

The hotel was under renovations. It was not listed as such on the booking site. I booked this hotel for the amenities all of which were closed. The lobby was open to the frigid -1 degree temps in New England. Our room was fine. But the windows let in cold Air and were covered in water on the inside, actually dripping down. When I brought this up at check out the manager was extremely condescending and rude. DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

The hotel is currently going under some renovations, since the dirtiness and loudness. But otherwise it seem to be a really nice hotel. Very convenient for what we needed. The problem we had was with the ridiculous parking fee that we were charged for one night parking. The first night we stayed. It was 40 bucks like we were told at the front desk. The second day for the same amount of time all of a sudden the price was $79. This is double the price that we were told and the attendant said that they have nothing to do with the hotel. Even though the person at the desk said it would be $40 a day in that lot across the street.

There was construction going on in the hotel. It was a nuisance. There was no area for our Virgo to gather together as construction closed the eating area. Pool was closed so the kids couldn’t swim. Service was excellent. When the construction is over I think it will be a great place to stay.

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable and so close to TD Garden.

Great hotel within easy walking distance of town and public transport and we enjoyed our stay. Only drawback was the renovation work that was ongoing that we weren’t aware of when booking which meant the pool was closed.

Overall pleasant hotel
Valet was attentive. Front desk staff were friendly. The room was fairly clean and there wasn’t an odor. The room was quiet and I couldn’t hear any other guests. I really enjoyed that checkout was at noon. I definitely feel like I over paid for the quality of the room and I didn’t like how breakfast only went until 930am.

The later checkout time is indeed a feature many guests appreciate for added convenience. However, your feelings about the room quality not matching the price and the breakfast timing ending too early are noted. Hotel under renovation, not disclosed by Expedia. No poll availability ( under renovation). Ni on-site parking ( public parking lot nearby $100 per day/ ugh. Rooms outdated/ not worth the price.

Booked it because it was pet friendly and had a pool. But the pool was closed for renovations. A notice would have been nice. There was no parking either. Got charged crazy amounts from recommended parking lot next door.

We booked this hotel because it has an indoor pool. The pool was closed but we were not told that until we checked in. The rooms are dated and the bathroom sink would not drain properly. However, the staff were very kind.
