Welcome to Red Lantern Lodge, your family memory maker. From the minute you walk in to our cabin we hope you feel at home. Enjoy a peaceful retreat in this beautifully updated log cabin that sleeps 10, Gorgeous mountain views, and conveniently located with a short drive to the Grandfather Mountain, wineries, Boone, ski slopes, shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, fly fishing, gem mines, rafting and more. The kitchen is fully stocked and the table is perfect for meals and after dinner games. Take your pick of the two covered porches to see nature and the nearby waterfall. Our spacious cabin offers 3 levels each with smart TV's and sitting areas. 3 couches to chill or sleep on too. Check out our reviews!

Guys Trip

We stayed to attend an App State football game. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient to Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Communication with host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was nestled up a hill in a private, small community. Beautiful trees with 2 front porch views. The furniture was nice quality and fit the beautiful classy bear theme! The loft beds are exactly that, a loft, but they had their own bathroom so it was good for kids. We loved this property and the host was very sweet. It was very convenient to App, blue ridge, Tweetsie railroad, Banner Elk and a 30 min drive to grandfather mountain-perfect for us. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

Great place to stay

Located at a good distance between downtown Boone and banner elk, easy to access both places. Sugar mountain as well. Quiet and a beautiful mountain cabin. Porch is great. Lots of room to spread out over the 3 levels. Would rent again. You do have to access stairs to get to the main level. Thanks!

Wonderful Girls Trip

Our book club recently did a mountain getaway and this was the perfect spot. The location was great and it was a wonderful house to gather in. The kitchen is really well appointed and there were plenty of televisions hooked up to lots of different streaming services to please everyone. I will note because I did not realize when I booked that the upstairs has no doors so it is more of a lofted area which would be ideal for children but was a little awkward for 5 adults. It was a wonderful weekend and I am so grateful to our wonderful hosts who were so accommodating with early check-in/out and great recommendations on where to eat in the area, super responsive and fabulous.

This property was spacious and a great fit for my family. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed since we cooked our meals. The porch with rockers and swing was our favorite! Granddaughter enjoyed the games and play room. Fireplace was an added luxury on the cool nights and mornings. Would love to have had a firepit for s'mores. We are already talking about renting for a longer stay next year.

This cabin was very nice and cozy. It was a perfect place for our family of 11 to stay. The cabin was in an excellent location and was very clean and organized. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cabin in the High Country!
