Pros: Perfect location! Right within walking distance to restaurants, shops and markets. Beautiful view from roof top balcony. Also you can walk straight out the hotel, through the restaurant and straight to the beach. This was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Free parking a few blocks away and free basic breakfast downstairs in the hotel lobby area. Free tea is available anytime! Great air con. I would stay here again if I was coming for a relaxing beach holiday and could nap during the day and for the location and shops! Cons: LOUD!! If you are a light sleeper do not stay here. There is a nightclub right outside and plays until 4am every morning. I had a room on the top level and could sing the lyrics of the songs from the bed. Then 5am calls to prayer go off really loudly and wake your one hour of sleep. Pillows are hard and it’s uncomfortable to sleep. No elevator, so need to carry luggage upstairs. It just lacks a few nice touches like soft pillows, a doona and a new shower head. Also as a side note you cannot drive to the hotel and drop off your suitcases. Only taxis are allowed there. So if you are driving, you will need to park in the car park about 5-10 min walk away and walk all your suitcases back to the hotel but this isn’t a huge problem.

Exceptional Customer Service & location

Artemis Hotel is excellent small family run Hotel & Restaurant. The owner and all the staff are friendly, provide exceptional customer service. As an added bonus you can have breakfast on beach as the hotel is on the sea front. Then you can laze on sunbeds or swim in the sea until 17:00. Where the beach front will change into a open air restaurant. Rooms are all of decent size unless you expect massive rooms like in the USA or major international hotel chains. Definitely would return and stay at Hotel Artemis because of customer services and location to central Bodrum
