Ground Floor: TV, CD Player, Woodburner
Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bathroom: Bath, Shower
Separate Toilet.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. 40 acres of grounds with walled garden and seating area (shared with other property on-site). Bike store. Ample parking. No smoking. Please note: No children or babies due to animals and farm machinery in the area. There are 2 steps in the grounds. . These spacious holiday cottages, finished and fitted to a very good standard, have been thoughtfully designed keeping some original features. Set down a quiet country lane, a short drive from historic Bodmin, and around a courtyard where chickens roam freely, they have country views. A short walk leads to the station where the popular Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway runs to Bodmin with its historical jail, shops, restaurants and pubs. From the station at Bodmin Parkway you can walk to NT Lanhydrock House. From the cottages you can walk to the Camel Valley Vineyard to sample and purchase the local wines. Within walking distance is the local pub and the Camel Trail, a level disused railway line, with an abundance of wildlife along the Camel Estuary - ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riding. The properties are ideally situated to visit the North Cornwall coastal resorts of Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, and Padstow - home to Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Close by are the South Cornwall coastal resorts of Fowey, Looe and Polperro, or take a trip to the famous Eden Project. A short drive away is unspoilt Bodmin Moor, Rough Tor and Brown Willy. Golf, horse riding and fishing are all nearby. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub ½ mile.
These properties can be booked to accommodate up to 6 guests.
Free WiFi

The property is located on a working farm.
No children or babies allowed.

Great Place
We stayed for 11 days and loved the house. Wide angle camera lenses often create the illusion of bigger spaces, but this flat really was very spacious. The bedroom was big with a nice bed and plenty of storage (a bigger bed would be ideal). Separate toilet and shower rooms were nice. The kitchen was big and well fitted. The real bonus was the spacious lounge with two couches (although the TV definitely needs to be upgraded). The wood-burning stove was wonderful. The location is super convenient with easy parking, and there is easy walking access to the Camel Trail right from the flat. The door lock was broken so we could never lock the house when we left, but the property always felt very safe and secure. We truly enjoyed our stay!

A must to stay
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful barn conversion. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you need provided. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. The bed was lovely and comfortable. There is a log burner in the lounge with a supply of wood but we didn’t feel the need to use it as the electric central heating was sufficient for us. Lovely and cosy to return to after a day out. We will definitely be staying there again.
