I chose this house because ad said great house for families and family friendly! The house is beautiful, spotless, and is a great size for families! It has a great outdoor patio, pool, and grill area, added bonus for my family was the child safety gate around the pool!
What was not safe was two uncapped gallon size cleaning solutions under the kitchen sink, especially when my 3 year old granddaughter is with us. The caps to the bottles were no where to be found.
The manager Christian was friendly over the phone but he did not meet us at the house to show us around, as was stated in my email from Boca de Villa. We managed to figure out things on our own, bbq grill and house lights were our challenge at first, bbq electric start doesn’t work and light switches aren’t traditional light switches but all was good after we figured it out!
The house sleeps 8 yet there was only 6 beach towels and 6 average sized bath towels, we had 6 adults and one 3 year old and two infants that were all registered on the form. When I called the manager he sent the housekeeping service to give us 4 more bath towels but needless to say I had to wash towels frequently because we needed to use some of our bath towels as pool towels!
Boca de Villa advertised it had a pack and play and it did have a nice one. The ad also stated it had a high chair, which it did, but it was an old wooden one, unstable, no safety straps to hold the toddler in and definitely a hazard for him to fall out of! When I called the manager, he had nothing else to offer us. I had to go out and buy one!
Overall, Boca de Villa is a nice house and would recommend it! I would also just recommend that the owner supply more beach towels and at least two bath towels per house guest! I’ve stayed in many VBRO and bath towels have always been in abundance! And throw out that high chair, that’s an accident waiting to happen!
