"It was a bit of an adventure finding Hotel Pacifica after a long day of travel, given it is located on the far side of the river with no obvious way to cross, but after asking directions from another "gringo" we found our way across the foot bridge. The suite was fine for three adults although a bit sparse in terms of kitchen supplies. Good enough for a simple breakfast or lunch but cooking supper would've been difficult. Melia Puerto Vallarta - All inclusive

"The resort was great, especially if traveling with kids. The food was okay and the beach was small. However, the beach wasn’t packed with people and the waves were good to ride. My son loves to ride waves. The rooms were okay, not top notch, but I got a family room which had lots of beds. There were a couple of cons- on our 2nd night, the power in our room went out at 4:30am. It woke our baby up and he was up for an hour, since he uses the sound machine. I had to go to the lobby and tell them, which they were able to fix in about 15 min. However, the damage was already done with the baby waking up. My daughter got bit by a mosquito in the room and so did my baby. He had lots of bites. However, this you will find everything in Mexico during the summer. My daughter had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite on her forehead and half of her face got swollen. Thank god the on-site doctor saw her at no cost. The restaurant food was awesome, especially at the mole & tacos restaurant. Overall, as a mom, I enjoyed not having to cook and my kids were entertained the whole time."

"We had a great stay at Delta Marriott Puerto Vallarta. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the pools, beautiful views, and convenient location. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta."

"Beach , facilities , and overall cleanliness was great . The food was not good at all . Everything didn’t have taste or was appetizing . Very disappointed in the food overall wish we could have more authentic good food . Apparently other Riu hotels have better food so this one did not meet those standards . If it weren’t for the food I would give it 5"

"Family-friendly. My preschool daughter enjoyed their drop-in center. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Rooms were clean. Thank to staff for ungrading us after some miscommunication with our booking. The view from our room was very nice. The only thing is that you can't control the AC. The thermostat doesn't let you change the temp in the room so it can get warm at night in the room."
