"The hotel is in the 15th century remodeled building. It is 15 minutes of walk from the train station and 5 minutes of walk from the center el Duomo, the center of Florence. The staff was excellent and super helpful. The all speak English well. The reception is staffed 24/7. The only problem was the noise when a family got into the adjacent room. it was late at night and we could hear every word until they finally got asleep. The breakfast at the hotel was very mediocre. It costs 10 euros."

"First time in Italy and what a great introduction to Florence with this great hotel in the middle of this vibrant city. The staff was fun and amazing giving good advice where to dine at traditional restaurants that is walking distance. The best part is the upstairs indoor outdoor breakfast area with good selection of pastry, eggs, bacon etc even fresh honeycomb honey u can spoon it right out. In the evening outdoor terrace serves drinks and cocktail overlooking the city of Florence for a beautiful sunset. The elevator was a bit small and if u took the stairs was a little confusing but that was part of the charm and character of this hotel that made it special. I truly felt like i was experiencing Italy in this hotel and that's what makes traveling most enjoying."

"We had a great stay at Hotel Albani. It's a touch of old school elegance, which might seem a little fussy to some. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. Some folks might enjoy the ginormous TV. We usually skip hotel breakfasts in the States, but the breakfast at Hotel Albani was excellent. Only negative was that we probably needed an in-service as to how the shower functioned; we had weak showers before figuring it out."

"Location is excellent but if you’re driving in that area it’s probably best to get a taxi as the parking garage is on the right side of a T junction one a one way road!! Room is comfortable but please check type of room as you book as we had a room with no views! Breakfast buffet is awesome. Would recommend the hotel as long as you are willing to pay the extra money for it"
