did not like constant noise of compressors and mechanical equipment turning on and off all night. Also, poor acoustical/noise separation from adjacent units - loud neighbors!

This is our second stay here - absolutely unintentional. If Expedia would put up how we have ranked something in the past when searching, I’d have been able to avoid this. We paid almost 900 for two nights for a room that should be maybe $100/night. I get it’s game weekend but there should be a limit to the price gouging. We couldn’t leave the door open to air out because someone was sitting upstairs outside their room smoking pot (all hours). The building inspector needs to visit. We travel a lot, have 15+ years of being travel soccer parents staying in all kinds of places and this is one of the worst places we have ever stayed. The vibe is Ewww. Interestingly enough, the other one is also in Christiansburg closer to Radford.

My only positive score is for the front desk clerk. He is not an owner but has to hear the complaints of the patrons. The exterior is not maintained with peeling paint, the interior is beyond dated, mold in the shower grout, bathroom floors are slippery and not from moisture and the bathroom door barely closes as it hits the toilet. Very questionable people loitering around the property and pretty sure they provide housing to Welfare recipients. We did not feel comfortable staying on the property, cancelled within an hour of checking in and went to a much cleaner hotel at a lower price. I get it that this was homecoming weekend at Virginia Tech, but no way should someone expect to pay over $300 a night for a room with that low of standards. Do not stay here!

Considering they an exhorbinate for thjs level of hotel due to Parent's Weekend at VT they should step up their game. The rooms have bugs everywhere, the door adjoining the rooms did not close all the way but was so stuck it wouldn't open (or close). Just a couple of doors down there were several people sitting on the sidewalk smoking weed - all day/night long. The smell was everywhere. The back of the desk chair was completely ripped. The walls are very thin, but that was to be expected. The desk staff was very good/courteous. Did not participate in the breakfast so don't know how that was. Parking is abundant.

It was a cold Saturday evening and we had to turn on the heat. The unit started smoking and the smoke alarm went off. The entrance door would not latch. We went to the front desk and asked to be moved. We had booked a room with two queen beds. The only rooms left were one queen bed, which could not accommodate us. He told us we could sleep in different rooms, which was also unsatisfactory. Because it was homecoming weekend and a Virginia Tech football game, there were no other hotel rooms available in town. We had to drive another 15 miles for a room. Because we booked with Expedia, he said he couldn't issue a refund, we would have to deal with it on Monday.

My stay was a short one but it was comfortable. My room was clean it smelled great every time I entered my room and the staff was great to me. I dislike staying at Hotels because you always find something wrong but with this place I didn’t. I would definitely recommend this place.

The front desk was nice. But the hotel is not as advertised. They stated hot breakfast everyday, but the cooke would only be there 3 days a week. They promise room service. It comes only every 4 days and when they come they DO NOT CLEAN, they juts replace towels. I complained 3-4x to the front desk, an dthen they cleaned a little bit but still just making the bed and taking out trash. theyre rarly vaccumed floors, cleaned sinks. And they did not tidy or organize your belongings at all. Not worth the money that quality inn charges.
