Family stop-over

Nice food and view over the lake. A lot of noise in the evening from other guests and the kitchen made it difficult to sleep. Hotel is close to railway and highway which means that you need to keep the windows closed.

Hotel in great location next to lake,food in the restaurant was very good staff were fantastic. Nice clean bedrooms we had rooms facing the lake great view.My only one fault was that the shower trays are just too small for anyone above small size so dont drop the soap other than that oh and parking might be a problem it is limited along side the hotel other than that great place to base yourself.

Ich würde wieder gehen

Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in der Albergo ganz gut. Ich war allerdings nur eine Nacht dort. Würde aber wieder gehen.

Sauberkeit im Badezimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig

Wir haben 2 Nächte im La Palma verbracht. Uns wurde auch mitgeteilt, dass wir ein Zimmer im Dachgeschoss ohne Seesicht bekommen, aber dass im Zimmer nur ein Dachfenster mit "Himmelblick" ist, hat uns doch erstaunt. Durch das hat das Zimmer auch sehr dunkel gewirkt. Gar nicht so wie die hellen Zimmer auf der Homepage. Das Badezimmer wäre ganz sicher fällig für eine Renovation. Sehr klein, nicht sauber (verstaubt, Zahnpasta vom Vorgänger, Ablage verschmutzt). Frühstück konnten wir bei Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse einnehmen. Herrlich! War alles da, was zu einem guten Frühstück gehört. Abendessen war auch lecker. Parksituation: Man kann für Fr. 10.- pro Tag ein Ticket kaufen. Wenn man einen Parkplatz ergattert hat, sollte man diesen tunlichst nicht mehr verlassen. Sind sehr gefragt. Zum Abschied bekamen wir eine Flasche Wein aus der Region geschenkt. Sehr nette Geste und trotzdem reicht es nicht, dass wir nochmals nach Bissone kommen. Für uns hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gestimmt.

Albergo Ristorante La Palma, Bissone

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön direkt am Luganer See. Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze, es gibt jedoch vor dem Hotel mehrere öffentliche Parkplätze, auf welchen mit einer Tageskarte für CHF 10.00 geparkt werden kann. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll gestaltet und trotz der Nähe zur Autobahn ruhig. Das Badezimmer ist relativ klein, reicht aber aus. Am Frühstücksbuffet gibt es eine gute Auswahl an süssen oder salzigen Angeboten. Bei schönem Wetter kann draussen, direkt am See, gefrühstückt werden. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Sehr freundlicher Service und gute Küche. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die benachbarte Bar im Lido. Diese spielte ab dem 2. Tag bis fast um Mitternacht sehr laute Musik. Hier das Hotel jedoch nichts dafür.

Schöne Lage direkt am See

Das Zimmer war sauber, leider hatte das Zimmer nur ein Dachfenster. Das Buisnesszimmer ist daher nicht geeignet für ein Paar.

Great Easter weekend in Ticino

It's a nice old hotel in a beautiful place. The lake views are amazing and if you have a car, it's a good location to explore the surrounding area. Staff barely speaks English but everyone is very friendly and helpful. The biggest issue for us was that the highway is super loud and it was impossible to open a window at night - it was either too hot or too noisy to sleep. Not a big deal for a night or two but it would be a problem for longer stays.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Das Essen war hervorragend und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Obwohl das Hotel nicht im Zentrum war, empfand ich die Lage als sehr gut. Kleines süsses Städtchen und man ist innert kürzester Zeit überall. Ich komme wieder!

Weekend Trip

Für einen spontanen Wochenende-Trip ein perfekter Ort. Tolles Familienzimmer (Nr. 12) als charmante Dachwohnung. Tolle Küche und sehr nettes Personal. Direkter Seeanstoss und Gartenterasse. Man hört die Autobahn aber stört nicht.
