Walk to the BEACH and close to DOWNTOWN - the perfect location! The Main Suite

Ideally situated 1 block to the beach & less than 5 blocks to the shopping/restaurant district, Oak Shade is a meticulously maintained property within easy walking distance to historic downtown Ocean Springs, as well as beautiful Front Beach. Newly renovated, The Main Suite is the perfect place for romantic getaways, as well as week-long family vacations. It features a king-size bed in one bedroom, a queen in the other, a couch that sleeps two, and many other amenities you are sure to love.

Inside Oak Shade's The Main Suite, you will find a firm, yet comfortable king-size bed with luxurious bedding inside a private bedroom with a Flatscreen Smart TV with Roku, a second private bedroom with a queen-size bed and flatscreen TV, a full kitchen, a spacious living room, and a library/den full of natural light and a fabulous library of books for your enjoyment. The couch in this room converts to two twin-size mattresses for additional sleeping accommodations.

The bath includes a deluxe standing shower, and plush bathrobes are provided.

The Main Suite's living room features comfortable seating situated around a large flat-screen Smart TV with YouTube TV and Roku.

Other features of the freshly renovated space decorated in soothing shades of white, gold, and grey, has key-less electronic keypad entry to the suite, designated off-street parking for up to three vehicles, refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove, dishwasher, glassware, flatware, plates/bowls, mugs, and a coffee maker.

***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

***There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties of any kind. We have installed exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

Oak Shade is the perfect place to find comfort, peace, and solace amongst the natural beauty and art-filled community of Ocean Springs. Front Beach can be seen from the property and is less than a block's walk away. The Ocean Springs downtown shopping & restaurant district is 4 & half blocks away and takes about a ten-minute walk.

Oakshade in Ocean Springs.

Oakshade was well located between the downtownWashington St. restaurants, museums and access to the beach. The property was extremely clean and hadeverything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor screenedporch each evening before dinner. It was very peaceful.

Perfect location that makes you feel like you're a real part of the neighborhood; a very relaxed vibe with lovely giant oaks that's a short walk to the beach and beautiful skyline and a short ride or nice stroll away from great restaurants and shops. We love this home and location! This is our second time booking. The location to downtown, the beach, and fishing is what has us coming back. This year we rented a golf cart and had even more fun visiting different areas. One of our favorites was buying oysters off a dock down by the fishing harbor. Wonderful property and perfect location!

It was wonderful. I have never seen a tree embracing a property like this before. A true miracle tree. The home smelled so clean when I first entered. The bed was soft and comfortable. Soap, towels and hair dryer was provided. The property manager was available instantly when I had a question. My stay was wonderful and I hope I can book this property again in the near future. I can tell that this property is someone’s pride.

This cottage is well worth thw stay. We went down to visit my daughter and grandkids with our 2 small dogs and this place was perfect. Excellent location a block away from the beach, quiet neighborhood within distance to everything you need. The owners have everything you would need for your stay. We will definitely book here again in the future. Thank you for the cozy stay. Only thing I would add would be a firepit on the patio area but over all Amazing place.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect. The house was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed and more. We were impressed by how organized they were in providing instructions for using the house and checking out. We appreciated the recommendations for things to do and places to eat while in Ocean Springs. I whole-heartedly recommend staying here. Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a relaxing extended weekend away from the hustles of normal life. This was exactly what we wanted. The town is beautiful. Everyone was friendly. The house is in the perfect location and the host is nice and extremely helpful. We were looking for somewhere that was more than just a place to rest your head at night. Everything was just the right blend of calm & quiet and fun & exciting. It really is the perfect place for all ages. We will definitely be coming back in the future.
