A perfect slope-side cabin for a family Christmas celebration.

Our family of four spent a lovely Christmas and New Years in this Cowboy Heaven cabin. We had absolutely everything we needed to eat, drink and be merry and would absolutely return again.

Great little cabin

This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Super close to the trail which made being the first on the slopes that much easier! The hot tub and the view was perfect for after-ski relaxation.

Great location, well maintained and as advertised

Property was great, everything in working order. Location was great-ski in/ski out. Also, the property owners were very easy to work with and communication was excellent. Very pleased with our choice.

Wonderful views

Used this property as a base for exploring Yellowstone. The cabin was clean and has plenty of amenities. Received a very thoughtful gift package of snacks and the like which was a great touch. Hot tub has the best views ever! Would recommend and also stay again if I were back in the area.

Wonderful!

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The property is well described, has all the essentials, clean, amazing location and view. Owners/property managers communicated well and easy to work with, take care of the property well, everything was in great condition. They also provided great information about the area, to see, do, eat, shop and relax. Super helpful . Couldn't ask for a better vacation ski in/out spot in Big Sky.

"Well Worth the Money!!"

This cabin exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed everything it had to offer, from its views and location to all the information and assistance that management provided us in helping our stay be as comfortable and relaxing as possible. If you are considering this place then book it before its gone. It has immediate access to the slopes and lifts. No lines at the nearest lift. We will definitely rent again in the future!!!

superb summer comfort

I booked this cabin due to its value and was impressed beyond my expectations. The area is beautiful (great for hiking) and less than 10 minutes from the Village tourist amenities (including zip lines, paintball, mountain biking, archery, etc.). We took the drive to Yellowstone and enjoyed a tour for an excellent day trip. The cabin itself has been exceptionally comfortable including the bathrooms, beds, temperature, kitchen, hot tub, and porch. Highly recommended! Feel free to email me if you have questions...

Great location, great amenities, and great communication from the unit owner!

We've been staying in the Cowboy Cabins for the past 10 years and this cabin did not disappoint! It had everything needed for a great ski vacation: location ski-in/out, hot tub, boot warmer, benches and hooks for all gear, washer/dryer, and awesome kitchen w all the things needed to make a breakfast for champions! The gift basket was thoughtful with hand warmers, ski maps, and snacks- all the little things a person may forget but are needed. These little perks made our trip easier and more comfortable. If I had one suggestion- it would be 10+ if it had a bigger hot tub but the tub is big enough and our overall gives this place a 10/10 rating. We hope to come back this summer!

Great Location...But not worth the Price or Hassle

Since I can only leave a 1500 character review I will bullet point: Pros: Location is excellent for a ski trip Cons: - Upon checkin the door handle was broken and couldn't get in the cabin. Locksmith had to come and left us with no door handle or way to lock the cabin when we left the next day to ski - Hot Tub was not working for the first 24 hours, Hot Tub vendor that came out to check on it said its "junk" and really should be replaced. Control panel was damaged and couldn't read controls. Heat took 48 hours to come on, three out of four sets of jets did not work. - Heating Stove made an ungodly annoying rattle preventing us from sleeping at night - Garbage disposal was clogged and not working causing the sink to fill up from the dishwasher whenever in use - Bathroom was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. Sink is clogged and takes a few minutes to drain whenever used - Washer/Dryer are not full size and just shut off during use. Had to call to have it fixed. - Front porch is a lawsuit waiting to happened its so slick Called the property manager for the door handle, hottub and dryer issue and gave up after that and dealt with the other issues. Requested to speak with management twice but have yet to receive a call back. Poor lady in the office dealing with these issues...she tries hard but Property Management Company (Stay Montana) seems to be in over their head. This coming from someone that rents properties through VRBO myself. Go elsewhere.

Big Sky

The property and accommodations were very nice. The description is misleading. Says it is a one mi it’s walk to the town center when it’s actually a 20minute drive! Additionally, we had not received any notification on how to enter the property an hour before our arrival so I sent a message to the host. Upon arrival I was miraculously able to finally find a phone number and was given our code to enter. The host finally responded to my text 16 hours later. It impressed with Stay Montana and their inability to effective communicate. Eye disappointing

Ski trip with kids

Property was beautiful. Spotlessly clean, however I did find a random sock under the bed that wasn’t ours. Hot tub wasn’t up to temp and contacted the property manager and they immediately came to fix and it was perfect when we returned from skiing that day. Communication was effortless and they were so friendly. The property was exactly as described and was so comfort I highly recommend this rental. So easy to check in and check out.

Spring Break Ski Trip

We had a great stay at this property! No complaints. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was in good shape. It was roomy enough for 4, but 5 people would be pretty tight. Very short walk down past cabin 11 and you are on the slope to ski down to Iron Horse. Getting back to the house you take Powder River Run (an easy blue). We loved it!

Heavenly Cowboy Heaven

Location is as good as billed. You walk 50 ft to the slope. You get on the mountain in a very convenient and accessible spot. Easy to come home for lunch and get back out on the slope with minimal interruption in your skiing day. Vistas are incredible! Kitchen is small but surprisingly well stocked with what you need to make most any kind of meal. You must have a good 4WD or AWD vehicle as roads are snow packed but very passable with he right vehicle in winter.

Great location, beautiful views

Loved the ski in/ski out accessibility, incredible views from the back deck. Location makes it difficult to dine out if you don't have your own car. No public transportation availability and taxis are almost impossible to find. Jacuzzi blew a motor while we were there which was disappointing but I understand there was not much the owner's could do at that point.

Perfect Cabin for Summer Vacation

We were very happy with the cabin, the cleanliness, location and especially the amenities that most rentals are lacking with. Most rentals have very few and poor-condition pans and other kitchen necessities for cooking...this cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed, including basic spices, foil, plastic wrap, etc. They also did not skimp on providing sufficient paper towels, cleaning supplies (dish soap, new sponge, etc.) and toilet paper, as we have experienced at many other rentals. We were very pleased with the condition of the cabin and felt very comfortable for our week long stay.

Great location!

Easy ski-in/ out. Clean cabin with beautiful views. Bed mattress, pillows and kitchen stove are due for replacement. Electronic door lock was convenient when not frozen; luckily there was a spare key available.
