「We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. 「A group of us wanted to plan a ski get away in Cape Breton after all of our snow! Only 10 minutes from the hill, we had a fabulous stay at John & Anne’s place. 「This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside.」

「Great place and location. Included golf was excellent. Hard to just go for a walk from the property as it was a busy road but in town for walk wasn’t far to drive. Baddeck had everything you needed and the whole Cabot Trail was there to explore as well. Unfortunate that we had Hurricane Lee come through and the weather was not stellar but made the most of it and it could have been much worse if we were in the direct Hurricane path.」

「Room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and the property was well maintained. The door to the baloney was very hard to open and wasn't crazy that it was a shared deck so all the neighbors could walk in front of your window and just look in, at least this was the case in the building we were in.
