Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"This place was literally heaven on earth. Wow! I’m normally not one to repeat a trip, but this cabin alone has me reconsidering coming back. Cabin was clean, amenities were perfect, David was incredibly hospitable. Incredible experience."
"The river is so lovely and the cabin is darling and the back deck is dreamy. The cabin was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. For those who are sound sensitive, the train might be difficult (bring ear plugs)."
"We stayed at Prospector's Bend as a weekend get-away, we loved that it was on the bank of the river and welcomed our dog. The host Guinevere was very welcoming via text, and was easy to check in with. We didn't have any issues pop up that were worth concerning Guinevere with, but she did provide options to contact should we have needed which was appreciated. The highlight of the home was definitely the hot-tub which was awesome after a nice hike over at Bridal Veil Falls. The hot-tub was well treated, you could get out after a nice soak and not feel like you were burning with chemical. Although it was missing a couple of the neck pads, but that's easily remedied with a towel. I appreciated the host mentioned they were in the process of replacing the cover and cover stand. Having a full kitchen was great for making meals, all the basic cookware is available. It didn't have any major impact on our stay, however I'll say I think the listing leans heavy on the use of luxury. This is a nice rental, in a easy to reach location. However the home shows its age, and is a nice river cabin type feel ascetics, which made it great for our use since we had our dog and planned to come and go for hikes. Worth mentioning, the back area has a massive blueberry plant that produces great fresh berries. We'd happily stay again."
Jaybird Cabin- Tiny home with huge riverfront & mountain views!
8/10 Good
"Incredible views with tons of amenities. The tiny house had everything you could need. Very clean and cute inside. Expansive deck and wonderful sights from the hot tub. We loved that this property was pet friendly and our dog could wander through the trees in the front yard. Like other reviewers, we found the ac unit to be quite noisy but we were so grateful to have it in the bedroom. The only negative is that the staircase to the river is different than the it appears in the photos. It’s very narrow steps with a chain handhold and divert steep. River access is overgrown and thick with sticker bushes. We were not able to bring our dog down to the river which was the whole reason for booking this property. To be fair, river access was not mentioned in the description but it appeared as such in the photos."
River Front on the South Fork of The Stillaguamish River
10/10 Excellent
"This cabin was extremely clean. It came stocked with all the comforts of home but also quiet and peaceful. We loved the fire pit with the beautiful view of the river and it is close to nearby trails. This was exactly what we wanted and more."
